A word of advice for less strong travellers like me, who get sick in waiting in sun in a longest queue, to book a 300 rs special darshan pass from the tirumala trust website prior to your journey to Tirumala. There are many bus and taxi services available from Bangalore to tirupati , yet we booked train tickets for the... More

I am writing this review for those who wants to go by car to Tirupathi from Bangalore, that they should be very careful. Road from Bangalore to Mulabagal(after Kolar) is good. But the strech between Mulabagal and Chittor is extemely danger. It is single road and it is not at all advisable to drive in rainy conditions. Car will not... More

Tirupati is one of the richest pilgrimage cities in the world but that is not the reason to visit this place. I have never seen so many people visiting a temple. It is always very crowded but despite that the temple is well maintained in terms of queue system and neatness. There are a lot of Puja sevas.I have attended... More

This temple is situated at the top of the Tirumala hill and the hill road is well maintained, pleasurable to drive. There are two roads from Tirupathi to Tirumala, one for going up the hill while the other is for going down the hill. The temple and surrounding areas are well maintained, clean and tidy. Devotees are offered laddu a... More

This is one the best religious places I have ever visited. With about 100 thousand people coming here everyday it is still very well managed and kept very very clean. Start from the road up to the temple from Tirupathi town to the planning and amenities here are awesome. Every single paisa given by the donor i feel is put... More

There is not much to dislike about tirumala. No matter how many times you visit, you always want to be coming back

Hi , 1 ticket 2 persons , In case children very don know but young stars not married should also need to take tickets. Wear dhoti and while you go inside the swami's kalyanam place you need to remove shirt and baniyans . So maintain decent dress code . If suffering from knee pain you may sit on the slab... More

The one and only tip i would recommend is to start early from tirumala like 3am or 4am. Start early in the morning for the darshan. try to reach and stand in line Special darshan (Rs 300/-) max by 5am in the morning if you want to do the darshan quickly. And the most important tip, go for darshan on... More

We were a group of 6 MBA Batchmates, 3 boys and 3 girls, this time going on a, for the first time, "Temple Visit" and we decided to head to Tirupati. Since we also had a couple of friends joining in from Bangalore, so we departed from Pune to Bangalore and then from Bangalore to Tirupati by train. First things... More

It took almost 3 hours for me to get the Darshan, even though I booked it for 300 Rs Sheegra Darshan. Nowadays you get "Annadhanam" all the time from 09.45 am onwards. A must try and its awesome and free of cost. :)
