This temple is situated at the tirumala hills. I will advise to go to temple by stairs instead of road. because of two reasons first is that you will see many natural beautiful scenes in the way and also you will get free pass. Also note that be prepare the further schedule cautiously because darshan in the temple may take... More

I would recommend you book Rs. 300 tickets online and keep your footwear and cellphones in the hotels. I did the same and was able to take Darshan in less than 1 hour.

Went to Tirumala temple in thrid week of December. Fortunately, we did not get the huge crowds that are common. Got the darshanam in 3-4 hours of waiting. It was chaotic near the actual darshanam but otherwise the experience was good.

You get positive vibration as soon as you enter in temple city. The arrangements in queue complex are quite appreciable. You don't feel discomfort even if you've to stay there for hours. Recent introduction of online booking will bring more transparency and comfort to pilgrims. Divine God blesses pilgrims in few seconds. Keep chanting Govinda...Govinda

Just came back after a six hour wait at the temple! This is such a temple we all just feel totally Blessed to even see HIM for a few seconds! However, the queues are crazy. Also there are various kinds of tickets you can buy, Rs 200, Rs 300 etc which can take you a little closer. Then you also... More

1. Please plan atleast one month in advance. 2. Visit the website of TTD for accommodation , seva and darshan booking. If you go without planning it is very challenging. 3. Take a bus or taxi to tirumala. No alcohol or Tobbacco products. 4. Always plan to stay for a night or two. 5. For old age person the cut... More

Divine experience. all the drive and long queues that you will stand to get in front of god for 10-15 secs is worth it.

My family of 4 was able to visit Tirumala during our recent trip to Tirupati. WE had booked the e-Darshan for Rs. 300 for a 2PM slot. The e-darshan website is open for a brief duration of 3 hours every day and the prime slots get filled up quickly specially the e-sevas which get booked 60 days in advance. WE... More

This is a temple experience I would definitely do again, set amidst the lush mountains, the Tirumala Tirupathi temple is an ancient temple which takes you back ages from the moment you step onto its soil. Indeed, the shoving crowds are there and you would need to organise a good travel/tour operator who would be able to get you to... More
