We were a group of 6 MBA Batchmates, 3 boys and 3 girls, this time going on a, for the first time, "Temple Visit" and we decided to head to Tirupati. Since we also had a couple of friends joining in from Bangalore, so we departed from Pune to Bangalore and then from Bangalore to Tirupati by train. First things... More

It took almost 3 hours for me to get the Darshan, even though I booked it for 300 Rs Sheegra Darshan. Nowadays you get "Annadhanam" all the time from 09.45 am onwards. A must try and its awesome and free of cost. :)

Govinda , the Lord of the universe by his unconditional grace has manifested himself in the Sri Venkateswara Swami temple at Tirumala . Even a thought of visiting Thiruvenkatam (Thirumala) purges us of our sins . Once we come out of the sanctum we can visit the pottu to have darshan of the Lord's mother .Then partake theertham given outside... More

Tirumala Temple is easy to reach from Tirupathi by public bus. The trip uphill is quite nice. At the top you will see a peacefull temple city. You can easily spend a few hours

Excellent temple but too crowded. Very clean, well organised, Spiritual atmosphere and total satisfaction. This is one of the biggest Mahavishnu temple in the world.

Excellent arrangement and administration for the pilgrims. Month of may is too hot, probably one should visit during winters and it doesn't matters for how many days you stay there. It is such a beautiful place that even if you stay for one month you will have some thing new to see.

Peace and Quiet. Once I managed to ignore the waves of humanity and look within. Chose to go for darshan at 8pm midweek, so it was relatively calmer. Plus divine intervention.
