I visited the temple two years back and there is complete change in the process. Now lot middle man are eliminated and devote friendly. No doubt there will be some hiccups during Darshan.

Excellent arrangement and administration for the pilgrims. should visit during winters and it doesn't matters for how many days you stay there. It is such a beautiful place that even if you stay for one month you will have some thing new to see.

Peaceful and holy place to visit. One can reach Tirupati from all over India by means of Air, Bus or Rail. From Tirupati it is around 22 km to reach Tirumala, where all the temple premises are located.

It took four hours to climb up the hills with some breaks in between to rest. TTD is organizing free prasad/ meal after crossing the mokali... More

Seva darshan should be booked arrest 2 months prior... More

Not too many westerners travel here. This is what you should know: 1. It takes over 2 hours to go through the line (sometimes up to 8). So pretend like you are at Disney waiting in line for a ride. 2. You can't even bring you phone/camera in, so leave it in the car. 3. You can't wear shoes anywhere... More

Blissful. I used the Mokali mettu to go up the hills and thorougly enjoyed the hike to Tirumala. Personally I feel that the best way to go to Tirumala is by foot(if your health cooperates).
