Facilities have been bettered over time but still a lot of room for improvement. Some bottlenecks in the line where people literally get stuck to each other. Could be managed with help of some volunteers. Took us 2 hours of waiting and walking in queues for a 5 second darshan. Used the Mundan facility where you donate your hair. It... More

Tirumala Temple.... Par Excellence. It is a divine experience. On 29th August being Friday and Raakhi poornima , a very auspicious day. that day we saw the Garuda Seva to our great fortune. Garuda seva means the God Almighty is taken around the temple town in Garuda Vaahana( garuda means bird). it was a totally different experience.

The administration is only about minting money. Quick darshan ticket can only be booked online, this is a big news but not published properly. We went thinking that like in the Past, we would get quick Darshan tickets but were surprised that this option is no longer available. We had to take the Free Darshan queue and we were made... More

Lots of people visit Tirumala Temple everyday. Temple gets lots of revenue everyday but still lacks in basic amenities. I paid Rs 300 for darshan and still took 5 hours in the long queue with two small kids. Arrangements could be better. There is lots of rush of people and volunteers are not able to manage them. There is no... More

Always wanted to come to Tirupati as had heard a lot from people who had visited. We were lucky to be visiting with someone who had a special pass and we could spend almost 40 minutes inside the temple while the priests did their ceremony at 4 in the morning. The whole temple grounds were filled with devotees, some rolling... More

During my trip to Tirupati I did not face any problem in getting a vehicle to go uphill. In Tirumala too you have many jeeps and taxis to take you anywhere either to your cottage or to any nearby pilgrimage spot. But after coming out of the long circuitous maze of queues, devotees have to run barefooted on the sun-scorched... More

Instead of sitting in the waiting areas, were were standing in the verandah for two hours. Can be managed better. Senior Citizens are treated better.

Booked the 300 rs special entry ticket through online for 9.0 am slot. Waited in the hall for about an hour and total darsan time took 2 and half hours.
