Visited for the Kalyana-utsavam. Temple premises well maintained and clean. One should only be prepared to "brave" the crowds.

e-darshan (Rs 300 per ticket) booked through internet worked very well. Our darshan time was 4-5 pm (reporting time of 3 pm), and we were actually out by 4.30 pm! So overall we spent 1.5 hours waiting - which is not bad! and more importantly, this gives you some certainty re when you will be done. Laddu purchase was a... More

An extremely crowded place and hope to see some better crowd management. Darshan and everything here comes for a price, if you pay up upfront, you will be treated royally. You need to be extremely patient to wait in long queues for endless number of hours (especially if you opt for free darshan) to get a quick 5 sec glimpse... More

A Holiday cum Holy trip to Tirumala-Tirupati, something we have planned for a long time came true. The devastanam board had made excellent arrangement for the devotees. The good part is the devotees too having the sense of cleanliness and giving big hand to the TTD. We had bookded for Rs. 200/- Seva at 13.30hrs. Please be presnt with traditional... More

It is believed that Lord Sri Venkateswara enjoys festivals (utsavams), and therefore, every moment in Tirumala is considered a festive occasion. The most important festival is the Brahmotsavam.
