I have been there on 23rd Aug with my family. We were a group of 14 members and stayed in one Log-huts and a dormitory. Loghut costs 600 rs per day and dormitory costs 1000 rs per day (a group of 10 members can stay). These loghuts and dormitory are managed by CBET(community based eco tourism), under forest dept. This... More

I had been here with friends here in July but there was only less water at that time. It is recommended to walk there with shoes or sandals as the broken glass pieces of whisky bottles are scattered. The top waterfall is a bit dangerous because it's so slippery so not recommended for aged and ladies. One thing we least... More

I visited Talakona waterfalls with my friends in January, we took a bus from Tirupati to a place nearby Talakona, from there we took auto to go near(2km) the pool. Water flow is very less at that time, we took a dip in that flow and water is very cold. Do not open any bags with food items, there are... More

I visited Talakona waterfalls with family as a day trip from Chittoor. The waterfalls was and way to it was lovely and beautiful. You will need to climb for ~30-40 min for getting closer to the waterfalls. Even the climb was comfortable (clear road and stairs were built) and through the greenery. After some climbing, you reach that point of... More

Many miss the entertainment, environment and fun en route to Talakona. It is Talakona Resorts, where nature and lovely environs welcome for lighter moments, quality time to spend. Coming to sumptuous middle order food at the entrance off main gate just beside the temple surroundings is delicious natural wood burn natu kodi fry (for NV's) and delicious Andhra food for... More

Since it involves a walk for some distance, one should go only when fall has good water lest it is a wastage of effort.

Wow those who defy nature, here perceive nature, trust me its heavenly for me at least. Got to be damn very careful taking baths, showers or venturing inside the rocks. The top most is even more dangerous. One slip and its rocks again beneath with gushing water falls.
