It takes about 3 hrs drive up and down from tirupati. It is advisable to hire a vehicle which we did for 1800 rupees. About two hours stay at the fall will be OK. Worth visit. Enjoyed alot with nature and water fall which is out standing and chilled. Need personal cab to reach talakona. Way from tirupati to talakona loved it.

The Talakona waterfall is in Sri Venkateswara National Park,Chittoor District of Andhra pradeshin India. With a 270 feet (82 m)-fall, Talakona is the highest waterfall in the Andhra pradesh state.[1]Talakona is also known for the Lord Siddheswara Swamy Temple, which is located close to the waterfall.

I would recommend talakona for nature lovers.. Enjoyed full day and had lunch in cool,calm ambiance. Beware from monkeys.. Very dangerous. Good fun enjoyment full day

You will feel the Lord God's presence all over, just breath in as much oxygen as you can, and do get a feel of the water, its exhilarating !

This falls is good but this has no security and maintenance. If you are going with family or as a couple, be careful. Full of mass people, they drink and cigar there itself. They fall on you and make nuisance and the worst part no security to handle situation. Strictly not advisable for family or couple unless you feel secured... More

Have to catch bus from Tirupati Busstand, after couple of hours journey. Buses only runs twice a day. If you are going morning you have to wait till evening for Bus. Lot of Monkeys everywhere. You have to walk 30-40 mins from bus stop to waterfalls. Food available, forest department stay also available for night stay

Its just waterfall, u have a bath. Nothing much.... Be careful, don't forgot to go with safety measures atleast first aidbox.
