Personally, I found Ramoji Film City to be a hyped attraction and not value for the money. They have big campus and it is organized well, but the some attractions were below average. There were many performances. But the quality of performance was no better than a typical community annual day. It could be just us, since we have had... More

We had a conference in Ramoji City and stayed at "Sitara". Fish was very good. All other items selected were also good. Sitara is a great place if you are interested in the mini Disney Land near the Hotel.

This is the place where you can spend entire day with full of fun. The film city contains large numbers of artificial buildings, different types of parks, dummy airport and railway station. The childern can enjoy as there are numbers of fun and thrilling rides. But the toy train is utterly bogus. Here, you will be entertained by Stunt Show,... More

Firstly this is a really nice, well maintained place compared to many other lousy public attractions in India. But Im not a film buff so the film settings did not interest me. Neither did the shows which were of average quality. The kids enjoyed the rain dance and the bungee jumping. Its way too hot in the day time. I... More

The title says Ramoji "Film City" but the management should give a thought to rename it as Ramoji Amusement park. There are amusement rides (5-6 in total), a butterfly park, bird exhibits, gardens and some pretty lame dance shows performed by junior artists. Film sets are far and few. Getting there - very much on the outskirts. So count 2-3... More

Ramoji Film City is one of the most sought after place in Hyderabad. Why to visit - 1) World's largest film shooting studio, total area is 1666 acre. 2) See the shooting sites you may have seen in many movies. 3) To let your kids enjoy mini circus, kids play area, free rides. Why to avoid- 1) Around 60-70 Km... More

We went to Ramoji Film city expecting that we will get to see sets and possibly some film shooting...the film city has some real interesting replicas of foreign locations, the train station (where apparently lot of movie scenes including Chennai Express were shot) but it was disappointing to see that none of the film shoots permitted any audience watching the... I have been to Film City twice, once with my gags and another time with family. I would say it is one of best full day outing spots around Hyderabad. The day passes like anything after entering film city. Suggestions: You can take RTC buses 205,206 which will drop you near filmcity. http://www.hyderabadbusroutes.com/index.php?service=BUSINFO&busno=206/290 You can also book private buses from... More
