Salarjung Museum is very nice, located in Hyderabad city. It is an old museum. It is well maintained, neat and nicely done. It is good to visit and see the old articles of erstwhile Maharajas/Rulers, when you are in Hyderabad.

This is a must visit place for everyone who is new to Hyderabad. The legacy of the Nizams, the history of Hyderabad, the opulence of the by gone era, all in a single place. The place is well maintained and should be in the Must See list of any traveler to this city.

Loads to see of indian history, was helped that we had colleagues as guides to explain things.. Upper floors are artefacts from other countries too, but bulk of museum is indian focussed, ad you'd expect.

The Salarjung museum is a must visit in Hyderabad for all art and culture enthusiasts. All their collections are excellent, but the Veiled Rebecca, the Indian wood carving collection, the porcelain collections, the painting collections and the musical clock are exceptional. Tips: Keep 3-4 hours for the museum and try to attend the musical clock at 12 noon - the... More
