No words to express the experience of watching a plethora of artifacts which have the Royal connection !! Go there and immerse yourself in the world of the Nizam. Do watch out for the Swiss clock whose alarm is at 5 PM. It takes nearly 4 hours to complete. So eat well and run from 1 room to another. I... More

the place is full of marvels from past,including weapons,furniture,cutlery.the opulence of the Nawab of hyderabad. was eminent from the place.they had some of the most exquisite arts of the world at that point of time.

You dont want to miss this central attraction of Hyderabad even in your aim is not culturally related. From the paintings, to the statuary and furniture each room is a surprise. For those pleople used to western culture, this museum really get you out of your comfort zone.

Saw some amazing artifact, pics and souvenirs. The Nizams had some really Niche taste and choices..... take your time to visit!

i have been to this place only because it is close to charminar but this place seems interesting. i loved the childrens section alot.all the collection in the first floor is just amazing.we can see the royalty of nizam kings its worth a visit.but according to me the food in the foodcourt is not at all good but unfortunately one... After the facade of this museum got a major makeover in 2003, I expected an internal makeover as well, but unfortunately the protection and preservation of the historical artifacts seemed to be put on the back-burner. Must see attraction while in Hyderabad. Close to Charminar and Osmania University. Rare artifacts on display, huge collection. Look for the old museum clock.

this place is fantastic, but totally ignored by government. i am not sure what they are doing with all the funds received? totally ignored by officials. this museum has some of the worlds very rare relics. shame on government for not taking care.
