After the facade of this museum got a major makeover in 2003, I expected an internal makeover as well, but unfortunately the protection and preservation of the historical artifacts seemed to be put on the back-burner. Why??? It makes no sense! This museum holds incredible pieces from a personal collection that seems unfathomable, yet no one seems to realize that... More

Must see attraction while in Hyderabad. Close to Charminar and Osmania University. Rare artifacts on display, huge collection. Look for the old museum clock.

Beautiful Museum, so much to see from all over the world.. You need a lot of time to take everything in so be prepared for 2/3 hours if you want to see everything. Well worth the time though.

It is in the city. Charminar is nearby. Museum is excellent. One must spare at least half a day. The ' Veiled Rebecca' is a masterpiece. The musical clock is good. But the one at Chowmahal is slightly better. The complex is very clean and ticket is very cheap.

One cannot but marvel at his mans knowledge and appreciation of beautiful things. He would... More

This museum is really beautiful, impressive and well maintained. Take a tour guide so that you understand the items well. It requires more than half a day so start early.
