A truly memorable and fun filled trip with a good mix of culture, history, food and luxury. The marvelous Falaknuma Palace which means : “Mirror of the Sky” in Urdu; has been compared to the Chateau De Versailles. The Heritage Walk at Falaknuma Palace enthralled the kids. One feels royal in the regal ambience. Take ten minutes out to spend... More

Went to Falaknuma palace with co workers. They have surprise you at the start of the hotel, where they take you through horse buggy to main entrance. I have spend entire day looking around antique places and the palace. The thing I like most about the palace is the surrounding and the tranquility it offer. You can spend quiet day... More

If you want a real treat, book (24 hours ahead) for a palace tour, and a meal in the Italian restaurant. As long as you spend at least Rs. 2,500 the tour is free. OK, I did spend nearly Rs. 5,000 on a meal for one, but it was absolutely superb by any standards, and the setting is just incredible.

Its one of the best properties taken over by the Taj group, once owned by the then Nizam of Hyderabad. Truly an heritage site with lots to learn and see.

Went to the Italian restaurant. Overall experience was great. The trip started with the palace tour followed by dinner. Do not think of your pocket and go there at least once - it is memorable experience

They don't have any day tours, so if you land up there for just lunch, you're going to get tired looking at the place in an hour. No audio guide, and no place to sit and chat.

It was great walking through the opulent rooms and seeing the way royalty vacations. But even more so because it's still a place anyone can stay. We did the Private Dining experience with includes a private tour of the property and then a private dinner on the verandah, served with food from the Adaa restaurant. This is a highlight of... More
