6 yrs back this place was as green as grass. Only greenary all around, we used to visit this place quite often. But my latest visit looks like it will be my last visit. This place now looks like a desert. We happen to go to this place for family picnic last sunday. Since we were carrying food the entrance... More

It was a very sad and sorry experience as we visited Botanical Garden. As the name goes there was no such garden inside the gate which we entered after been charged an entry fee . Everything was worn out, broken and zero maintained. Plants too were in a sad and dying state as if it were nit watered at all.... More

This is a good place for birding. But please be aware that only 25% of the garden remains open after 10:30am. So if you wish to go for birding, then go early at 7am when you can explore the whole area. You can see different birds from very close and take good photographs. The annoying thing that even if you... More

The name botanical garden is a misnomer.. No proper maintenance of plant species with name plates.. Most of the name plates are thrown away.. Local normal parks have better greenery than this.. If you reside near to garden than it's ok visit.. For people visiting Hyderabad this place is a strict no.. The photos which you see on Google were... More

I was staying very close to this park, never knew there was such a nice garden in my proximity. Park is not very huge, can be easily covered by walk. I was luck to spot few peacocks during early hours of the day. Very nice place to have a morning walk and an evening visit with family, especially with kids,... More

This won't be in the list if you are from outside and want to visit Hyderabad. But if you are local and live nearby this is a good place to hang out, do morning walk and spend some quality time.

Having some time to spare I thought I would take in the Botanical Gardens on my recent visit to Hyderabad. What a waste of time. Nearly everything was either dead or dying, the two main exhibits where in a state of disrepair and the only plant life that seemed to be flourishing was the Bougainvillea which will grow almost anywhere.... Lots of parking, lots of space inside the gardens where you can set you good old picnic spot for family. Ideally it is a good spot for potluck parties with your teams if you are working in IT in nearby companies. I took my team for a potluck party and it was a hit! There are few huts where you... More

Botanical Garden per say, has nothing to boast about. Other than cactus...and a good variety of it, there's nothing much to it. -Locals visit here, more to play frisbee, chit chat ..or for kids to play. You will find couple of jogger's also. There is lot of security..inside and outside the garden. (Actually playing games should not be allowed, it... More
