This place offers a great view of the city. You will have to climb a number of stairs to reach there. Opt for the evenings so that you can save the torture from sun. Absolutely no mobile phones or cameras are allowed. There are some beautiful carvings on the marble and you can enjoy them slowing going towards top. If... More

Had to run from the car park to the entrance steps, since I kept the footwear in car. There is a free footwear stand so try and make use of it. The heat in february is not tolerable (for a Chennaite). The marble steps and floor cool the feet but the sun shines good and hot. The birla mandir is... More

All marble, ornate carvings, very impressive, 200 to 300 steps. One of the highest point in the city. Take your time, climb the stairs. Enjoy the spectacular view of city of Hyderabad. Armed guards at the top.

This main deity of this temple is Lord Venkateshwara and the temple is built with marble. Usually very crowded on weekends and holidays. Other than being a temple of worship and a place of meditation, people flock to this place also because of the 360 degree view that you get of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Tank bund... More

This famous temple is situated on elevation thus gives aerial view of city. It gives immense peace to inner soul & connects with god. There is elaborate arrangement of security & lockers for mobile as these are not allowed in mandir. it's a must visit place for visitors.

This is probably the best temple to lord Venkateshwara in India after Tirupati. The temple is situated on a hillock with sweeping views of the famous Husseinsagar lake and the state legislature building. The temple complex is built entirely of white marble. You need to climb around 100 stairs to get to the main temple, for those who cant climb... More

Its nice to climb up those long stairs and visit this mesmerizing place in the hilly area of Hyderabad. The priesta in the temple are helpful to show you the way to different temples who are part of the big Birla Mandir. There is a nice view of the Hussain Sagar lake from this temple and nice view of the... More

Temple is very nice, located on a hilly area of Hyderabad city. It is an old temple. It is well maintained, neat and nicely done. It is good to visit this temple when you are in Hyderabad.

It was early morning 7 AM and wanted to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara. So, went to Birla Mandir. As we were on the tank bund, we could see the Temple on top and it was indeed a beautiful scene in the morning. The marble was very much shining in the morning sun. The place was very serene and...
