Must see this palace, well maintained & been awarded @ the year of 2010. If you like to see properly , then it may take more than 02 hours. Best attraction what i liked that was Nizam;s Rolls Royce car, which He specially ordered & designed with silver on top in the year 1911.

Many in Hyderabad do not know where the Chowmahalla palace is. But after some help when we reached the palace, we were awe-struck! How such a marvel can be so under-promoted as a tourist destination! The magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizams resided. The 200 years old palace is unique in style... More

Any one who travel to Hyderabad should visit this place, the old cars/ bikes are good remembrance. One monument that in its intrinsic grandeur still exudes the power of yore is the Chowmahalla Palace. (Chow means four. And Mahal means Palace. Chow-Mahalla therefore means four palaces). The Clock Tower is another impressive construction. It houses what is affectionately called the Khilwat... More

We visited the place as part of a Heritage walk from Charminar - its very well maintained and beautiful. The contents - vintage car and historical outfits which have been restored are definitely worth seeing.

Spread over 15 acres, this sprawling palace reminds us of the richness of the nizam. You have to go to these places with a certified guide who charges 300 - 350 Indian rupees. It is well worth it. One has to immerse in the aura of the darbar hall that has the nizam's marble throne. There are so many photographs... More
