North Bay Island is visible from Port Blair. One can see a light house just from Rajiv Gandhi Sports complex (where we board the cruises) on the sea and that is North Bay Island. North Bay Island is a coral Island and popular for Snorkeling, Glass Bottom boat ride and Sea Walking. We preferred to go only to Glass Bottom... More

The island has nothing very special in it. Just some water activities. Also the island is not very clean. The only place that i saw in Andaman that was untidy. The water activities here are available at Havelock Island and Jolly Buoy Island as well. You can surely miss it without any regret.

One of the most enjoyable places in the Andamans. This island comes last in the three island tour and characterised by the light house that is printed on 20 Rupee Currency note. The place is distinguished for the Sea Walk facilities which could be availed for INR 3200 per person. I would suggest that you try this out. You would... More

The only things available on the island are the shops for scuba and snorkelling. But since the water isn't very clear, the experience would be better at havelock. The beach is very pebbly and not meant for lazying around. The north bay island can be given a skip if you are going to Havelock.

Tour operators often refer to the spot as North Bay Island, but it is not an island. It is in fact part of South Andaman Island. Speciality of North Bay is its Light House, which features on the reverse side of Twenty Rupee Indian currency note. North Bay is actually an alternate site, therefore visit the place only if Jolly... More
