Batumi Botanical Garden - the largest in the territory of the former USSR. Unique park with various vegetation zones. You can see, smell, touch and enjoy the thousands of plants. Be sure to come here for the day and the best in cloudy weather!

The Batumi Botanical Gardens are situated some 15 minutes by car from the city center on the top of the mountain, giving a beautiful view on the see. It`s a good half-day runaway from the city buzz, though the flora doesn`t exceed expectations. You can find beaches close to the entrance and at the end of the route. The lazy ones can choose e-buses inside for 4 lari. You can reach the place with public buses and marshrutkas.

About 15 minutes north of Batumi; there are two entrances, both about 1 km from the main road. You park your car and walk about 3 km, or you can take one of the electric trolley cars for 3 lari. Super well maintained and very pretty. A couple of springs provide great cold water.
