Batumi botanical gardens are the great attraction but 9 km from the center so a car is needed. With your own car it is not easy to find and parking place is limited. Inside the (very hilly) park can be found all kinds of flowers, shrubs and trees, unfortunately not always well labeled. It is a very old garden i.e.... More

This place is divine! So many beautiful plants. And the view is amazing! You can also see the railway and if you are lucky enough, you could see the train too.

World's second largest botanical garden; it lives up to his title. Great selection and collection of flowers, trees, etc... Garden is on the shore of Black Sea; so it has a sea view also... Totally recommended.

These are pleasant-enough gardens in a nice seaside location. They look a little beyond their best and lack any real wow factor, but they are a good way to while away a couple of hours in Batumi, where there's not much else to do. Take marsrhutka #31 from the cable car station in Batumi. It takes around 20 mins and... More
