My husband and I were in Moorea in September 2007 and we purchased a black pearl ring from Ron Hall. The pearl is absolutely beautiful and of excellent quality. the owner of the shop is very nice, and the pearl school he offers is very helpful. his pearls are beautiful and of the finest quality, and his prices reflect that. they are very fair for the quality of his pearls. they were out of our price range, about 1200usd for the necklace we liked. he came out to offer... more

We just returned from our cruise and had our multi-colored Tahitian pearl necklace, which we purchased from Island Fashion Black Pearls appraised, by a master gemological appraiser. You can trust Ron Hall and his son. The pearls appraised for $24,000, yet we paid approximately $22,000. I asked the appraiser to be as conservative as possible, which is what he did.... more
