Loved this historical and enlightening tour. Georgia's spirit was so inspirational. Alas, no photography is allowed for security reasons. So savor the memories and soak in the artistic vibes. More

I loved every moment of this tour. The docents were so informative and to be in the presence of where she lived was just magical...you could feel her life everywhere. We could all take a lesson of a great life lived. Can't say enough about it! More

If you are a fan of Georgia O'Keefe, you'll enjoy the tour of her house. It isn't very big and you can't go into many of the rooms, but what I did see was great. Then again, I'm a big O'Keefe fan. More

Note that Georgia O'Keefe had another home at Ghost Ranch, but it is not currently open to the public. She bought this adobe home as a historic ruin from the local Archdiocese, and restored it. Museums have a number of paintings she made of the courtyard wall, and the door in it. These tours are only given for part of... More

When I was there (January), tours were not available. But if you are a fan of Georgias, and a fan of stupendous light reflecting off the landscape, the trip is worth it even if you do not get a tour. The parking area that is beside the house allows a view of the distant landscape. As a fan of Georgia,... More

We just visited Abiquiu with a friend and my 96 year old mother. The docents couldn't have been any more helpful with finding her a chair and helping us through the house. It was incredible. I loved looking through the window at Georgia's living room, since it is a dirt floor I didn't want to mess it up with my... More

Being in this wonderful home was a rich and moving experience. It has been maintained nearly as it was when she left it in the mid-80's, and one can feel how the home and the surroundings inspired Ms. O'Keeffe. While the docent was knowledgeable, I was less than impressed with her manner, and with the general treatment of visitors. It... More

Excellent educational experience. Two docents explained her life and times as we toured the well maintained house. Thoroughly enjoyed it. More

For $40 you are allowed to peer into the windows of a sparsely furnished traditional adobe home & look at the white walls. We were only allowed to enter the laundry room, the pantry, and the kitchen. Since it is not only expensive, but a significant distance from Santa Fe, it is not worth the trouble and expense. More
