Unbelievable views, truely what you would expect from an authentic Fiji experience. Knowledgeable guides, well worth the bumpy gravel road to get there (but thats part of the experience). Not very strenuous, almost anybody can do it. Includes a suspension bridge crossing!

Lavena Coastal Walk begins at the end of the road leading to Bouma National Heritage Park, Taveuni Island. Main attractions are the walk through nature, spectacular waterfalls and swimming in crystal clear mountain water pools and for the bold and the brave, a boat ride on a rough sea day. The 40km drive to destination is about one hour from... More

We enjoyed the break from diving to take this walk. It is easy and fun. Not very difficult; lots to see.

Our guide Simone met us at the visitors hut and took our group of 4 for a guided walk along the coast line. The mix of crystal clear blue water right up to the rain forest coastline is stunning. The walk itself was "moderate" however our group ranged from 50 to 57 year olds managed it without issue. The path... More

We loved the Lavena Coastal walk. We did the kayak portion along the coast first and went to a waterfall only accessible by kayak then we had a short hike (15-20 minutes) to the main big waterfall (which was SOOO awesome) then hiked back (about an hour) to the village. We had our own guide just for me and my... More

Gorgeous walk along the beach and through lush rainforest, across a suspension bridge and then on to a river where we swam up to a waterfall and then ate our picnic lunch. We hired Simone as our guide in Lavena Village and he was excellent at identifying the flowers, plants and birdlife along the way. It is definitely worth spending... More

Fantastic! Beautiful walk along beaches and through rainforest across a small swing bridge and then up some stairs to beautiful waterfalls. Gabby, our guide was very informative and entertaining! We did the walk and boat trip back, awesome day! I am not a hiker but totally enjoyed this day.

We walked this in the rain but it was still fun. We had a great guide. The beach is very dramatic, and at the end of the rail is a gorgeous waterfall.
