We stayed at the lodge and walked in with Simon the guide from the village. It was a bit of a fast pace at first but then we slowed down past the first kilometer. Interesting to see the volcanic landforms. Once we crossed the bridge we started seriously looking for birds. Simon can spot them by sound....We were fortunate enough... More

I loved visiting all the waterfalls and rivers, and walking along the jungle trail. The village of Lavena makes me wish I lived there. I was sad I couldn't.

The views were excellent, the guide gave us so much information about the plants, and different things we saw, and the best part is swimming at the waterfalls at the end.

For the walk you have to pay around 20 FJD. And let's put it this way: it's not special. It's probably better to walk on the beach on another part of the island. But at the end of the walk you come to a nice waterfall. We also got a little bit unlucky as it started raining soon after we... More

We have done a guided kajak trip to the second fall and went back by foot. On this trip a guide is worth the money ... and money stays with the locals!

This was a great excursion, but one that requires a certain degree of physical fitness as the round-trip walk to and from the waterfall is both long and hilly. Definitely wear sneakers. Swimming underneath the waterfall and going down the natural water slide at the halfway point was the highlight, but our guide was not to be overlooked as he... More

the guide was very informative, we took the boat ride to the base of the falls, and swam under the falls, saw lots of fresh trout, and hiked back along the beach, amazing

Semba was our guide and he was great and entertaining! He had a lot of local knowledge to share along the way. Even styled my husband's hair with natural hair gel from a Ginger bud. That was fun! We had a great time. It's about a 5 hour walk in and out, mostly level, but wear good shoes that can... More

We did the kayak trip with the walks to 2 waterfalls. Then we hiked back along the coastal trail. We were served tea and cake at the end of the walk. Beautiful day!
