We took the bus to the end of the road to do the coastal walk. The trail is well marked and much of it is shaded. Swimming in the falls was very refreshing. If you book ahead there is a small lodge for overnight stays. On Friday and Saturday nights the village has a "fund raiser" party and all are... More

It was a 6km walk along mostly flat coast line but there are uneven and rough stairs made of stones (slippery in places) and a wire bridge that is not for the faint-hearted, but the fall when you reach it is gorgeous, and very very worth it. See if you can get the village to send you on a boat... More

Walked there and then got a boat ride back. If there's a group of you it works out at only $5 more than doing the whole walk. And we ended up spending so much time at the waterfalls. The boat takes you to a second waterfall a bit further up the coast

Longish (4 km x2) but very pleasant walk. Recommended. Nice falls and swim at the turn-around point.

We took the boat rise there and walked back. Easy walk with good track and lovely natural bush & coastline. Guides were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the extension boat ride as you saw more waterfalls and went up the river to swim under the falls. Local taxi to Lavena then boat hire to scenic coastline. Only go... More

A very diverse ecosystem walk. Be sure to use a taxi rather than the bus or you will be forced to rush the walk. A good pair or runners is suggested to walk over multiple terrains. Be sure to bring snacks or lunch as it will be a three hour round trip. Bring a bathing suit as well so you... More
