If you are in Taveuni, you won't miss the lavena walk. It is a beautiful day trip ending in a breathtaking double waterfall. But the best we had was our guide, as all Fijians he was extremely friendly and explained every plant we passed by.

Having done some cannoning and waterfall exploring in Japan and Canada, I can honestly say the Boat tour and trek at Lavena was the most amazing day trek we have ever done. The waterfalls and pool meeting wight he ocean create a turquoise that is so unparalleled. Even on a rainy overcast day (as it most often is in Taveuni)... More

We hiked this our last day and I can only say I wish we had more time. We hiked it with out 2 and 3 year old but had help from our guides to carry the children on and off. This hike is breathtaking rain or shine. I would make a full day out of this and really take your... More

Gabriel was a great guide. If you're daring - take the 45ft leap from the falls - exhilarating! The tea at the end was lovely.......

The roundtrip is roughly 3 hours, and we did it on the day we were leaving Taveuni. It was so much fun even without the kayak option (we didn't know that existed)... scary looking bridges, beautiful scenery, and we had a singing guide! He showed us some of the flora and fauna, landmarks, and even parts of the local village.... More

Round trip the walk/hike part is around 3 hours (1.5 each way). You walk on the beach, on a well kept path, and a few rickety bridges :) but all easy enough and everything is so beautiful to look at, you don't even realize you've been walking. At one point you can stop to rest and get some fresh coconut... More

Gaby was an excellent guide, after an hours upper body workout in the kayaks we reached the triple falls (you don't see this one on the walk) then a bit of back paddling to the double falls and a bracing swim to the pool. The walk back was interesting bordered with jungle on one side and the ocean on the... More

Had Pio (pronounced Pee-o) as a guide. We had wanted to hike to waterfalls, swim, then kayak back but it became too windy to kayak so they picked us up in a boat with a motor after the first set of falls and took us to another set of falls to swim again. Then we got a first class ride... More
