Beach access with sunbed and shade: 40 £Egyptian per person. The waters were crystal clear. A short swim to the drop-off where there was a lovely coral wall with shoals of reef fish. Also a popular dive site but the snorkelling looks more colourful. Cold drinks, beers and crisps available on the beach. The beach boy happily climbed the steps... More

Its worth every penny of the 60EGP entrance fee, for that you get a fluffly fresh towel, a sunbed and a bottle of water. There are clean toilets and a lovely resaurant who will serve you drinks and food at your sunbed by the sea! The reef is awsome and we saw dolphins on each of our 2 visits. The dive... More

Tried other beaches but you just can't beat this beach for snorkelling. Even though parts of the reef have died off there is still plenty growing and an abundance of fish. Staff on the beach are more proactive now at last at trying to stop people standing on the reef. Still plenty of idiots that still think it's ok....it's NOT... More

We stayed at the Renaissance Golden View resort, literally next door from this beach. We stumbled upon this place on a short stroll from the hotel to get to know the area and perhaps drawn by the lighthouse we could see from the hotel. Our hotel was great but what reviews didn't mention is the fact that, at this time... More

We took a taxi from Hilton Sharks Bay (£10) and he also picked us up. We sat and watched a glorious sunset whilst drinking cold beer. Great photography and a lovely romantic setting

This must be one of the most beautiful places in Egypt, this is the 3rd year that we have come to Egypt just to come to this beach/reef. I am disable and can only walk short distances with 2 walking sticks so the stairs are a problem but as soon as the bar staff see my partner and me they... More

Love this beach, so worth the admission fee. The fish are amazing and its so easy to spend all day snorkeling. Unfortunately there are a lot of ignorant people using the beaches who think its ok to stand and walk on the reef - its not !! ' Coral Shoes' as they are so badly named are not for walking... More

Paid 5 GB each to enter, get a towel and bottle of water, lots of sun beds, very laid back vibe with good music playing. the reef is spectacular, well worth the money compared to a 25USD boat trip. Loved this place.

My third visit here in February. If you are in sharm, please try it if you want some peace, good food and great snorkelling. The food was marvellous and the staff were great fun. The snorkelling and diving there is great. No need to take a towel, its provided when you enter.
