We did a two day, private tour for four from Sharm el Shaikh to Cairo by plane. Day one Pyramids and National Museum, day two Cairo. The company was very flexible on accommodating to our specific needs. If you can afford the moderate extra for a private trip, do it. This way, you can avoid elements of the standard program you don’t want (some rather commercial stops, as well as the pretty bad standard lunch) and replace it with something you like better. We liked the museum and the pyramids very much (how can you not) and the insightful individual Cairo program (special thanks to the guide!) incl. lunch in a restaurant for locals. We upgraded to the ‘5 Star’ Mercury Sphinx Hotel. The hotel is clearly not 5 Star standard and Accor should be ashamed of it. From the viewpoint of the tour and for the moderate extra cost, the hotel was fine. A nice extra: Book Tour Egypt included breakfast in our package, which they did not have to. Thanks for that. Would we recommend the tour? As a private tour with the given flexibility, definitely.

I only have words of praise for this agency, I contacted Book Tour Egypt on Whatsapp a month before I got there and we organized the trips together. The agency is reliable, it offers - as far as we have seen - the lowest prices for the services provided. They are negotiating, obviously, we paid a small advance and we stayed calm that we don't have to worry about anything. We highly recommend it!

Hi, We booked four trips from Hurghada: Cairo by plane, Luxor and two water trips. Book Tour Egypt dealt with our requests fast, professional and the prices were almost twice lower than what TUI was selling at reception. Thank you very much and I hope you will continue offering these services.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The communication on Whattsapp regarding the trip was accurate and informative. The price was very good value for money, far more competitive than booking at the hotel.

I was collected on time from my hotel and escorted through the check in at the airport to sort my visa out etc, Got to Cairo and the guide Fahme was waiting outside for us.

The tour was very well organised and a very busy day right from going to the Egyptian museum, visiting the pyramids of Giza and going inside a pyramid, seeing the Sphinx to riding a camel.

The camel ride and Nile river cruise is optional extras but I would highly recommend doing it.

The dinner was good and plentiful. I would recommend eating before you leave as you only have a small snack on the tour bus.

The guide Fahme makes the trip even more special as his knowledge is incredible. He was very enthusiastic and you could tell he enjoyed what he did because of the passion he had. He is also a fantastic photographer.

I would 100% recommend this trip and will be doing the Luxor trip when I return to Egypt.

I always use Book Tour Egypt for transfers from Hurghada to Smy hotel in Soma Bay. I love the communication they provide , they always confirm bookings on WhatsApp and reconfirm 24 hours before.
The prices are very competitive and the drivers are always punctual and polite. I would definitely recommend for a smooth good value transfer.

I did the Cairo/pyramids tour with flights from Hurghada and everything was absolutely perfect.
The communication from first booking the trip to being dropped off at the hotel was amazing.

It was an early start but I knew what I was letting myself in for and was picked up at 4:20am and taken to the airport and met up with a few others on the way.
We were met in Cairo by Ahmed and he was fantastic, took us to the museum, for lunch, around the pyramids and a couple of stops on the way to the airport.
I honestly can’t praise Ahmed enough, his knowledge and genuine love for what he was talking about shone through and it was infectious, making you want to listen and take it all in.
We also did the boat trip down the Nile which was well worth the extra £10 and Ahmed did say that it’s not worth paying the extra £20 to go into the tomb in the Great Pyramid as there’s nothing to see and you can see the same in one of the smaller pyramids for nothing.
I did the camel ride as well which I’d recommend, great views, great pictures and a different experience.
For me Ahmed really helped make the trip, with taking photos and answering any questions and being bloody good at his job. Thank you my friend.

I booked a dune buggy for me and my partner through Book Tour Egypt. The trip advertised that you could either drive serenely and enjoy the scenery or have an ‘exhilarating’ drive.

The truth is, you must all follow in a line with quad bikes at the front following a leader member of staff and then the dune buggy’s with a staff member behind that. You cannot weave, overtake and go fast at all.

The entire trip is within a confined area and you only drive on very well trodden paths. There is nothing at all exhilarating about this at all.

Finally, the time on the bikes is closer to 40 minutes than one hour because they take you to a place where local children hound you for twenty minutes to buy water or cheap bracelets.

Overall, this trip was very poor.

I booked “star glancing Jeep tour in Hurghada “ via WhatsApp directly.

very very well organized tour, it’s beyond my expectation! Definitely 5 even 7 stars tour, a MUST have!!

the driver was doing his job very well , making the tour full with excitement (better than roll coasters ) but still gave me feeling that everything is under control.

Musa was very knowledgeable about locals, about stars, sharing a lot of his own experience and fun facts …

Local families were really nice people, even showing us how to make local pancakes , their sheeps …

We got picked up very early from the hotel to fly from sharm to Cairo. This was fine and ok and we accepted we’d have to get up early to do Cairo and everything in one day but try and plan a few days ahead to get your sleeping routine in sync.

The day we wanted to go the company couldn’t manage (no explanation why) so they strongly suggested another day which was fine.

Up until the last minute of us going on the tour the company were making changes to pick up times and such so it’s difficult to make solid arrangements prior.

The planned sights of the tour were great (old town, museum and pyramids) but our tour guide “Sarwat” who was great and friendly obviously has private arrangements with businesses and other people who he is able to make some extra cash from which you get taken around also. All these things cost extra. Usually £10 per person. I have no problem with this as working as a tour guide must be difficult and there is some licence available for them to make some extra tips. Over all our guide sarwat was very good but he does need to update some of his jokes and patter as you can tell he’s repeated these jokes hundreds of times and even he can’t be bothered telling them. I’ve been on lots of tours and the guides are always the same. They have their hussles and extra income so it was no surprise. But in no way did this affect Sarwat doing his main job of showing us the pyramids and museum.

I would recommend this trip to others.
