I truly loved the coptic church in Sharm el-Sheikh - or to give it its proper title ‘the Heavenly Cathedral’. I liked this place for its art; or more for the way the subject matter was portrayed. Not because of the conventional feelings and inspiration you get from appreciating art but because it made me laugh as it was so... More

This magnificent Cathedral is a part of heaven. A must-visit for Christian and non-Christian tourists as well.

The church as absolutely beautiful inside, the atmosphere was peaceful and calm and the church congregation made you feel more than welcome. Outside in the grounds you were able to get food and drink and sit and enjoy the space. Would be nice to go at christmas.

One of the places that i never miss in all my visits to Sharm El Sheikh. The Church is very well designed as per the old Coptic church architectural style. The unique in this church is the painting. It is covering all the walls and ceiling. It is really charming.

Really worth visiting. The graphs inside the church are extraordinary! There is a guide also there explaining everything even if you are alone without a group!

We are not lovers of churches in general but were blown away by this amazing building and the wonderful artwork which covers all the walls and ceilings. Definitely worth a visit but remember to cover your shoulders and legs if female otherwise you end up wearing a cotton robe!

Walking into the quiet premises of the church, it was just another place of worship. I was wowed by the beauty of the artwork in the chapel. Beautiful, awesome, magnificient are all understatements. The guide was really friendly and nice and he told us about the church and Bible stories. I think if all churches are built and designed this... More

We stopped by the church for a few pictures outside, and the caretaker invited us inside. He then spent ten to fifteen minutes showing us the inside. The décor was absolutely amazing, and he really could not have been friendlier and more interesting. Highly recommended!
