We came here to go somewhere different,it was late morning and a lot of places were shut,we didn't really get any hassle from the ones that were open, just a polite No Thank You worked. The place looks like it could be a real party scene at night.A lot of shops did have fake goods, some were really poor quality or the designer... Went here twice in one week and really enjoyed! First visit was purely for shopping and we got pestered to death! However didn't find it intimidating as we were prepared for it and the shopkeepers love to have some banter with the tourists! As long as you are firm but fair with them they will be friendly! They love haggling... More

Has absolutely everything you need there. You can barter and then just chill out with a cold beer, food and Shisha if that's your style!

Wow be ready for the hustle and bustle........it's very interesting but very exhausting too. Don't think for one moment you can shop at your leisure but it certainly is an experience. Really do haggle/barter with them cause if they don't like it they will tell you, so don't feel you are taking advantage. Be careful cause there is a lot... More

An experience probably just the once. Shops full of tat is the best way to explain the area. If you want fake goods then you will be in heaven. If you want to find something that is actually made in Egypt they are few and far between. The shopkeepers want you to visit their shops saying No thank you worked... More
