I have been a number of times with my wife and friends and love every minute of it. You can get some great bargains and don't be afraid to haggle.

We spent a week here whilst diving locally. The resort is quite busy and very noisy until about 4am. We ate in several restaurants and bars with mixed results. When you walk through the streets expect to get pestered by the staff outside the shops and restaurants - everyone wants to be your friend!! A polite 'No thank you' usually... More

If you want bargains then the only place to go is Narma Bay, but be prepared to be hassled The sellers are on a mission to sell you something If you want to buy start the prices low approx. half the first price, and if you reach a two thirds of original price you are about right. don't be afraid... Took the hotel's shuttle bus to Na'ama Bay a couple of evenings and found it was a very lively and friendly area with loads of restaurants and shops. The shop keepers were friendly and obviously tried to get you to go into their establishments but were not over bearing or intimidating. Usual haggle with purchasing a few items, easy enough... it's like walking into Christmas with all the excitement and arrays of multi-coloured fairy lights lining the strip. The entertainment is like no other with music and dancing, low seating and the buzz of the crowd. if you go to Sharm, you can not miss Naama Bay at night time. great for eating, partying and shopping. you do get a... The first time we walked to Na'ama Bay it took 15 minutes from our hotel and right from the second we got there we were being hassled. People would run up to us shouting "you English, you English" trying to lead us into shisha bars or jewellery shops, usually a firm no would get them to walk away. But after... More

We popped down on a free bus from the resort, from the moment we set foot in the place we were hassled! We went for a walk around and were not left alone, found the shop/bar/restaurant works to be very rude and aggressive towards us, even tho we simply said no! Avoid, unless you want to fill your suitcase we... More

I loved the things i bought got some real bargains. They are all real fakes shops but very reasonable and fairly good quality if you pay a small amount more. Be careful in the back streets they can be very pushy, but i found a friendly but firm no thank you worked just fine. The police out of uniform patrol... More
