But be prepared to be accosted everywhere you go. The shopkeepers are desperate for a sale, and will practically drag you into their shops. They always want to know your name, and ask all sorts of personal questions, but once you get past this, they're quite happy to negotiate prices. Keep your negotiations fair though, they're trying to make a... More

Naama Bay is not the center of Sharm as it used to be. It is crowded, loud and sometimes very over-priced, but still the spot to go and have a good shisha and watch people go by!

Just got back from great holiday. I personally love na'ama bay. It was great to walk down the streets and see the tourist trade is slowly returning. The shop keepers appear to have toned down trying to get you into the shops, and are a bit more content to allow you to look around and ask them the price when... More

I used to love Naama Bay and spending nights in the Shisha bars but it has rapidly declined from last year. I choose to ignore the hasslers but were met with aggresive swearing and being told we hate the British. My partner and I felt quite intimidated walking down Naama Bay. If you do choose to visit make sure to... More

Naama bay's reputation precedes it so I was prepared for a degree of pushiness and hassle from touts from the restaurant, bar and shops but with fewer people visiting Egypt this year they have become more aggressive and make the experience of visiting naama bay a pretty unsatisfying one. Their isn't much to recommend the place but in the absence... More

Just got back. I had bought two packs of cigs (from a proper shop) When I've opened them, they stink of fish and taste like camel dung. Be warned- they are cheap for a reason.

Didn't get mithered as expected by local shopkeepers. Quite friendly too, and gifts reasonably priced.

Naama bay is a great place for shopping and eating, Yes you get lots of hassle but the people are only trying to make a living. I travel alone and if I can cope with it then Im sure you can, just say No Thankyou and carry on walking, no need to be rude. They sell really good fake goods... More

Lovely place for a stroke really vibrant and full of life.... Music, cafés, shops ... The lot Especially at night still full of people until 3-4 in the morning My only problem with the place is all the hassle you get from people trying to get you to buy stuff or go on trips, you just say no thank you... Have visited Na’ama Bay on three occasions now, although we did not stay here we travelled by hotel taxi. Two visits in the day time and once in an evening. Daytime visits are a lot more relaxing, especially if you have a family as the majority of the bars and shisha cafes are closed so you are not constantly being... More
