Had a night out, starting with a Moroccan meal, which arrived almost all at once. Very nicely slow-cooked lamb, and otherwise OK food. Quite amazing surroundings. Then off to shows. First was in a large area with Egyptian history lesson to start (could have done without most of that), then horse show, some dancers, and the dancing water to British... More

Arriving at Fantasia, the building is fantastic, beautiful and massive. We sat down for a Moroccan 4 course meal which was a huge amount of food for only 2 people and the tagine and meat was beautiful. We were sold the show with crocodiles, snakes and horses but only horses were present. It was an interesting show but not something... More

It was like being at an amateur belly dance class, mixed with circus mixed with a crowded marketplace. The building itself is nice, but the programme was very poor, except for the famous male bellydancer, he was amazing!

The food was amazing, after we ate we went to the first show which hadn't started yet, the Arabian horses were greeting the guests and you were encouraged to come down to the arena to see them and have pictures taken with them and even offered to ride them, the first show was really interesting, history of Ancient Egypt followed... We visited the Alf Leila Wa Leila market during the day where we heard about the shows they run in the evening. We returned the same night for the second show which included belly dancers, folklore dancing, a snake charmer. There were also other shops inside to look at before the show, hey have pizza, falafel an crepe stalls.

We loved the food and entertainment. However it is a little pricey and the horse show is a little boring after 5 minutes. Worth visiting if your hotel doesn't have much entertainment on like ours unfortunately did.

A really good night out. Food was good. Entertainment was very good. Then you go outside a see a show of the history of Egypt with arabian horses. Well worth doing.

Decent night, nothing fantastic, but definitely worth doing if you have nothing better to do or need to kill a night. The sound and light show was a bit rubbish, just people riding round on horses waving flags, after a short lecture on ancient egypt (that part was ok) The bellydancing etc was better, but again like i said, something...
