This trip was a tour operated event with a coach trip to the desert, followed by a camel ride to the camp site. On arrival at the camp there was food, drink and entertainment until it got dark, then you went further into the desert to see the most amazing sky crammed full of stars (I now know what they... If you need the toilet, you are in big trouble. You can't even see a dune let alone... More

Haggling with said child over a bracelet that I did not want, climbing that hill in flip flops the tent and barbie, dancing round the fire, star gazing... More

Rode camels, drank a beautiful herb tea, ate heartily, watched the sun set from the top of the mountain, sang and danced to Bedouin drums, smoked a little sheesha, stargazed with a pro. Brilliant experience!

We did this through Sharm Club as part of a Quad Bike Safari. They advertise that you can enjoy Star gazing for 45 minutes when in reality it was more like 4/5 minutes. Neverthe less it was a good experience and I dd learn interesting facts about the stars. Not worth doing just this but combined with other activities it... More

It's a shame were made to leave Egypt on the same day we were supposed to do this excursion as everyone who has done this trip through travel trend enjoyed it to no end. I will do this when we are able to return so this is great excursion to take and not expensive
