We booked to go on a 5in1 trip which included quads, camels, a show, dinner and star gazing. Our tour guide was hakeem and he was fantastic !! We drive quads to start with into the desert given refreshments half way through then ended up at the camels where we rode for about 15 mins. We then went to dinner... More

We enjoyed this trip but it was hampered by the fact that the group was far too big and we only had a fleeting view through the large telescope. The Bedouin meal was ok although our food was better in the hotel so topped up when we were back. We were introduced to the 'sheikh' but he only looked about... More

We enjoyed this trip, you need an Egyptian pound for the camel ride, the Bedhouin camp was good, the food was really nice, the climb up the hill to photograph the sunset was a bit of a challenge if your'e wearing flip flops or sandals and even more so on the descent, if this was in the UK there would... The scenery is quite something, you are buried in the middle of a pitch black desert with lanterns making some mountains glow, and the starts light up the sky like I have never seen! The atmosphere is so amazing, It really is something you have to see!

It was a great thing to do but I was unaware how tall camels are and found the ride scary, the younger members of our excursion were more than happy. There wqas a climb up a small mountain to see the sunset but we were not informed that sensible shoes would have been good. The food, not my choice. The... More
