What a good time going through the desert on a camel, a meal with the Bedouin and star gazing to round off the evening

Loved the astronomy lesson & seeing the sky completely filled with stars. So many constellations to see, as there is no light pollution. Amazing. Take a jacket & wrap if you go in Feb, though, as it gets very chilly.

The most fun half day trip to desert on quad bikes where we literally swapped for a camel ride. Then went off for tea and meal with show in Bedowin tent area which was great fun. Finally seeing all the stars with informed talk and use of enormous telescopic equipment made this evening one to remember in first class excursions... More

We went with Nabq Tours on this trip, it was an amazing trip well organised by Elvis Castello and we had an amazing night, the buggies, camels, bedouin people and a meal with dancers was brilliant, unfortunately there was too many clouds to star gaze, but the guide knew his stuff, he was brilliant. Thank you all concerned and especially... More

Absolutely fantastic experience. Would recommend this to anyone, even if you have no interest in the stars or planets. You will not regret this.

This was an excellent experience. A short minibus ride out of Sharm El Sheikh, then a camel ride away from the road into the mountains. Camel ride may not suit everyone - but riding in the minibus instead was possible. Being February, the late afternoon and evening was quite cool - during the winter months take warm clothes. Before the... More

We booked a trip to have dinner in the desert. It was called stars and dinner. We certainly saw stars. We got picked up form our hotel and taken to a camp in the desert where we road on camels, made Nan bread on an open fire and hot plate, and met some Bedouins that were so friendly. The food... I went on this about 15 years ago when there was nothing in the camp for tourists i.e electric lighting, music or a bar. It was so natural, the food was lovely and the Bedouins were genuine and lived where the camp was. After the meal there wast radio all dancing with live music and we all sat on rugs... More

this is an excursion everyone should try, riding camels into the desert, joining in with the native Bedouin people cooking, baking and dancing around the fire, delicious refreshments, hike up a small mountain to watch the sunset go down behind them and see the vast colours, then back down to your Bedouin camp for more refreshments and fun until complete...
