I am a little reluctant to write this as I don't wish to spoil the magic. Ras Mohammed is an amazing place, so so beautiful and peaceful. I first visited 12 years ago and not much has changed. It is as beautiful on land as in the sea, and my 5 year old son was blown away by the snorkelling... More

We travelled to the Ras Mohamed national park by boat to do some snorkelling and Scuba. Having snorkelled in Nabq bay off of a pontoon I was a little dissapointed that the marine life or underwater environment wasn't any different. This could have been due to the company who took us there as we only visited a small section of... More

The National park at Ras Mohamed is the first and only Egyptian National Park. The park is notable for its sharply defined fossil coral platforms which represent ancient shorelines. The reefs range in age from 15,000 to 2000,000 years BP. It is really amazing for divers.

We went snorkeling around the national park and it was one of the best trips we took the entire time we were there. The surrounding area is simply beautiful and the staff who took us around (Alex, Ali and his crew on the ship) were so friendly and helped everyone along the way. Very reasonably priced as well, including unlimited... More

A huge variety of dive sites and marine life. Stunning diving. Shark and Yolanda was a favourite as was Lighthouse (a less dived site but incredible)

We attended a snorkelling trip here and it was amazing! £25 English for an all day trip on a lovely boat - great views of the sea and got 3 stops for snorkelling or diving. Saw amazing sea life and even a turtle! Dolphins can be seen if your lucky. Our food and drink was included on the trip and... More

I arranged a boat trip to Ras Mohammed, very reasonable price. The usual stops here and there before getting to the boat but once on the boat the staff were fantastic, gave clear safety instructions and looked after anyone that struggled once the snorkelling was underway. The reefs that I visited were very beautiful and it seemed that the preservation... More

We did not enjoy any of the experience. Felt like part of a flock of sheep being herded around for the day!!! Much preferred Sharks Bay.
