A must see, very impressive. We booked an excursion to the Coloured Canyon, they took us from hotel with SUVs and drove to the canyon in the desert. The pity to see were names carved in the canyon by some Russians, you shouldn't do that with such unique nature monuments.

I highly recommend this tour organized by Sharm Touring.. the Coloured Canyon is beautiful and the scenery is stunning. Mohamed Zizo is an excellent tour guide - great enthusiasm and very informative. Other highlights included the Bedouin tea, snorkeling in the blue hole (awesome coral reefs), a camel ride seaside and a stop in Dahab! Overall, it was a very... More

Thanks for those who recommended me to visit this place! Its really beautiful, feels like you are not on Earth any more. Plus in the end of excursion you can have a tea with Bedouins what I did and really enjoyed. Took this tour from Kenuz Tours including jeep safari, camel riding, tea with Bedouin and snorkelling in Ras Abu... More

Well worth a visit. Very pretty layering of different color Sandstone in a desert canyon. Our visit was followed by a Bedouin lunch which is a must do experience.

We start the trip by a 4x4 car through sinai desert to visit the oasis of Ein Om Ahmed which is one of the main Tarabin oases in South Sinai, in the sand belt running from coast to coast under the Tih plateau along a main dirt road. There are many date palms and several plantations and the place has... More

Travelled in a party of 8 in a land rover to desert where we did some scary off road driving to reach canyon, got stuck in a sand dune & had to be dug out!!! A short walk & climb down takes you into the canyon. Rock colours & formations are stunning. Not for anyone with mobility problems as you... More

Actually we went to Rainbow canyon instead of colored canyon. I've been to the colored canyon couple of years ago, but actually the rainbow is much better, and more difficult specially after heavy rain. It's a must seen trip. The journey takes around 2 and half hours in the canyon itself.

My husband and I booked a few trips with Sharm Life Day Trips and one being Abu Galoum and The Blue Hole. We were picked up by jeep which was packed so squeezed ourselves in the back - mixture of German and Russian plus one other English couple. It wasnt until we were an hour or so into the journey...
