Not for the less mobile, We loved walking around seeing the canyon. We did have to squeeze through gaps and also had to go through a gap onto someones shoulders. Not everyone liked this idea, and they may have changed the route for this now. It certainly keeps you fit, Take plenty of water as it gets hot.

the place is marvelous, and you will see outstanding views just it had some hard areas you have to climb on ropes ladder so if you not in a very good health you couldn't do it :D

You walk for one hour in a sunny and hot weather. Bring your camera, cap and bottle of cold water. I didn't had fun there but at all it wasn't bad.

Very nice scenic views and worth a visit when in Egypt. The only thing to be careful of is there are some dangerous places where accidents can easily happen.

it looks good, but don't expect a big variety of colors, there is some dangerous places where you can't pass from it easily if you are not fit, and you will probably need someone who went there before to help you to pass through it

It is a very nice place to visit specially if you like hiking. There are some narrow paths inside so be careful and take care of your ankles

if you ever went to south sinai then you must pass by the colored canyon. It used to be an under water canyon but now its a small - 2-3 km - amazing hike. Guides are good, but I recommend you bring your water and a camera with you there.

This is a good trip to see a more natural Egypt. The canyons are quite good, although the rock markings are not as spectacular as you would think. Its a long day and if you have any kind of circulation or leg problems, its probably not a good idea. We had 8 adults in the back of our land rover... More

I was staying in Dhab with my wife and 2 kids, and has been wanting to visit the Colored Canyon for a year now. I finally found what I wanted. It was about 90 minutes drive from Dahab, of which 30 minutes are into the desert. then you start your hiking for almost 2 hours, not that exhausting though, my... More
