The best part about it is no need to take a boat and the worry of getting sea sick and all, you simply drive to it, juts north of Safaga on the base of Soma Bay compound this version bay is unbelievably virgin. the management simy renewing some things but hope they keep it with it natural beauty.

A day trip out - lunch and snorkeling. The snorkeling was excellent, the fish close and beautiful. The coral has not been destroyed and we enjoyed our day!

This is the most amazing place to snorkel or dive. Well worth the visit. You can snorkel straight off the beach. The facilities here a very good with clean toilets and food available.

Excellent place. We booked with Book Tour Egypt and spent the day here. It was great. I panicked when I saw the bottom of the sea disappear but then went back and rented a well fitting life jacket for 3 euros. That was a great move! I snorkeled right out over seriously deep water and saw so much sea life!... More

Take a taxi here to find great snorkeling right off the shore! Food and drink on premises and will take Egyptian pounds or Euros.

Going with a guide that showed you where to snorkel, I wouldn't have known otherwise as area restricted for conservation. Very quiet area. Rather windy and rough the day I chose. I booked with Captain Bob of Royal Trip Tourist Service in Hurghada who was very efficient, provided car and driver and guide. Life jackets not needed as bay sheltered... More

Very nice spot for beachdiving! We went with New Son Bijou Diving Center when it was too windy for go out by boat. Highly recommended, almost better than many open water spots.
