We visited both Paradise Beach and Mahmya on two separate trips. Beware, some trips advertise visits to these places but take you to the beach outside the 'private' areas where admission is charged but included with other trips. If you don't go into the private areas, you will find good beaches but no facilities or shade. So be careful to... More

Went to this island they called it paradise but I wouldnt. No shade unless you go into private part which on are trip was not included. Only shade we could go into was were bar was but no beer for sale. Bar area not that comfortable. We were only on island for 45mins which with no shade was long enough.

The water is precious and the place has a very nice atmosphere. I just hate that it had lots of cigarette buds in some places. Also why on earth cant you just take a ferry to the island? why do you have to book a snorkeling trip and waste half a day doing that and then spend 1 hr on... More

It is good to negotiate the price of the package of the Giftun visit. Usually the packages offered on Hurghada includes different things like some lunch, drinks, snorkeling and Giftun visit. Can become cheaper to negotiate your own boat with your group than paying separate per person. Giftun is a nice snorkeling place especially those days when it is not... More
