Not to be missed if you are staying in Hurghada, even if you do not swim. Take a snorkel, mask, fins, and wet suit for a day of fun, usually 2-3 stops and lunch. Check at hotels for boats.

We went there on a boat trip after snorkelling. The island is beautiful and lovely walks into the sea, I would expect it can be a bit crowded in high season, but definitely worth a visit

The Giftun Island trip usually coupled as snorkling/Giftun Island is not bad. The snorkling is amazing for those who have never done it before the sight of coral and fish in there natural habitat is a breath taking and a delight to see. The Giftun Island itself is not much but its normal to have many tourists doing the same... More

Arrived to find a beach full of Russian guests, had to walk 500 metres to find a clear spot. Every step of the way the beach was littered with cigarrette dog-ends and other rubbish. Hard crushed coral sand. Only refreshments were either strawberry juice, or Guava juice. Avoid like the plague.

Nice white sand beaches, good spots for snorkeling. Go and visit that island but dont pay more than 125 LE/pax for tour. Bargain for 100 LE, if you insist enough, you get that. Have a nice holiday.
