We still like the athmosphere in the marina, to whatch all those yachts, but the prices are getting higher in the bars there, and the quality dropped down a bit.

If you like gazing out to sea from a cosmopolitan harbour with upmarket shops, restaurants and bars then this is the place to be! Feels like the French Riviera with millions of pounds worth of super yachts moored in the quayside. On Friday the weekly marina carnival is fantastic with a free show and party atmosphere! Well worth a visit.

Very calm, quiet place for a holiday. Friendly, helpful locals. Great selection of shops and restaurants. The tuc tuc's are a cheap way to get around.

El Gouna is a must to see... such a nice, clean, quiet & stylish place ... nothing like it in egypt ... great walk on marina side, classy boutique shops, quality staff... downtown, life & music , old european town atmosphere, cozy pubs and the unforgetable touk-touk - the local transportation !!!

A night time venue maybe? Not a lot going on during the day! We have been here before and it was certainly busier then. The yachts are amazing though.

A variety of cafes and restaurants and good food for all tastes. Fridays are quite interesting as there's a food fair and some street entertainment. Most of the restaurants though will open only after 4 or 5 pm so not convenient for lunch.
