A Boat trip away from the hotel which was fun and reliable, plenty of beds with free mattresses , cafes OK. Also has place if you are inclusive
We were staying at the Arena Inn so were lucky in the fact that we got free bus and free sun bed.
It's quite a nice beach, nothing special. The jetty is nice to walk along and you can see plenty of fish.
The major negative of this beach though is that within 20 minutes of being there we were...

The beach wasn't full of people, but due to the awful layout of the sun beds it felt really crowded. We paid 100le per person to have a squalid sunbed on a beach littered with cigarette butts and broken glass. We would not go back and I would not recommend this beach to anyone unless you are staying in one...

Not much happening on the island, we felt as though we were stranded, not sure if the island had life of some sort (except a pier).
We paid the entrance fee of 15 egyptian pounds per person to be constantly hounded by sales staff trying to sell us safari's, massage and many other useless offers... The snorkelling at the end of the pier was average and the beach quality was poor.....
Having arrived by bus from the Arena Inn, we had to walk over the bridge and past the cotton wear shop and the perfume shop. This took us half an hour - we were so waylaid by the vendors. I had to shout at the perfume vendor who wanted to put some smell on me - I'm allergic - and...
