Diving Dahab

Good selection of reefs with easy access. Most sites accessed from areas where cafes were located offering shelter and refreshment between dives.

The coral reefs in Dahab are world class. I've been diving all over the world, and only the Great Barrier Reef compares to this.

Wanted the experience of diving the Red Sea & didn't have the time for a 'live on board' so shore dive only option Enjoyed the 2 dives but don't expect spectacular coral gardens with lots of wild life. For these better to go Indonesia or outer Barrier Reef , Australia

If you want to see and swim with the local fish you have to dive/snorkle on these fantastic reefs! Take a local dive boat out to them for only £15 English for an all day adventure diving on three reefs food and drink included. You wont be dissapointed FANTASTIC.

I have snorkeled in Thailand, Malaysia, and Hawaii in the past. My experience snorkeling in The Red Sea (at Dahab) is a step above anywhere that I have been before. The water was crystal clear, with shades of blue and turquoise that I didn't know existed. The coral was beautiful in all its various colors. However, the highlight was the... More

Perfect for photographers and eco travelers. Some of the most amazing pictures in the red sea. My group was really interested in a specific area, perhaps they were more experienced than me in terms of snorkeling but I'm glad I was paired up with them since I got some nice coral pics.

Although Dahab is a bit of a ghost town given the current situation, it's well worth a stop on your travels through Egypt whether you're a diver, snorkeler or simply a backpacker looking for a chilled out, cheap place to drink and eat by the sea. The locals are friendly & there's plenty to see & do for every age... More

Dahab is spoiled with great corals and dive sites. The Blue Hole at one end of Dahab and The 3 Pools at the other. Approximately 20-25 mins to The Blue Hole from the centre and about 15 mins to The 3 Pools the other way.

Nothing could be closer to a television documentary of undersea life than even the simplest snorkelling expedition in Dahab. The coral reef and sea beds are magnificent. I saw an African lionfish my first time out.
