3 Pools crystal clear water, underwater canyons, great reefs with great wildlife. Blue Hole is world famous. Great reefs great location. Blue Hole busier than 3 Pools. 3 pools very chilled and relaxing and one of the best places I have ever been. More

As a novice snorkeller and diver (not anymore!), I found the coral reefs in Mashraba absolutely stunning. Away from the Lighthouse crowd, it's serene! Lots of seaside cafe/restaurants along the coast, so you can also camp out at one as they'd watch your stuff and let you use their toilets... don't forget to order the odd drink or snack though! Large parts of Dahab still have the laid back feel of a backpacker destination - withn the bonus of so many snorkelling and scuba diving possibilities . Wonderful / welcoming people. More

I snorkeled at Eel Gardens and saw amazing Lion Fish (late in the afternoon) and other lovely fish. Even one moray eel! I'd really recommend going there. You can leave your bag or valuables at the nearby Star of Dahab restaurant for safekeeping. Other snorkeling spots I loved were at Three Ponds and Islands, where there were beautiful coral reefs...
