I have been studying spanish at Surpacifico Spanish School in Manta for 3 weeks and the least I can say is that I made the right choice ! I knew that they also had a school in Montanita, but my girlfriend and I wanted to be confronted to a less "touristic" venue in Ecuador. The school itself is settled in... More

My family came to Manta in September 2013 and right away we joined Surpacifico Spanish School (took classes for 5 days a week) to study spanish. My husband, 2 children (7 and 10 y.o.) and myself started to speak basic spanish within a months. Now, it is July 2014. My kids fluently speak spanish and have high grades in the... More

I spent 9 months in Ecuador and spent the majority of it in Manta. I attended classes at Surpacifico and lived with a host AS well as above the school for many months! I would walk to the school from my host mom's house down the street, carrying always my guitar on my back and usually with my satchel and... More

I studied at this school in 2008 for a couple months. It really is one of the best language schools that I've attended. Each class is one-on-one so the entire class is catered to you. The teachers are really great and actually have "teaching skills". I was disappointed at many Spanish language schools because even though the teachers all spoke... More

I had chosen the Surpacifico school in Manta because the city is on the beach (way better than Quito) and both classes and accomodation (I stayed with a lovely and very caring local family) were very affordable. I booked the Spanish intensive lessons (one by one) and the result was incredible: After two weeks I was able to more or... More

I studied and resided at a flat in the Surpacifico school in Manta, Ecuador for 2 months. I found the facilities to have been clean and SAFE; the instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional; and the price of the training was very reasonable. Manuel is the owner, and I found him to have been extremely helpful and warm. The area... More

I went to Manta in Ecuador for a project and I had the chance to study in the Surpacifico Spanish School. I lived in the flat of the school during all my stay in Manta, which was really a great opportunity for me. I was in the classes every morning and it was also possible to do some activities and... As a student of Spanish language, I have attended language schools in Nicaragua, Peru and Ecuador. Of all the language schools I have attended I will have to say that the quality of instruction and experience was best at Surpacifico in Manta. I felt so much this way, that I returned to the school for two more month-long sessions in... More

I studied Spanish for 2 months here with Surpacifico in Manta Ecuador. The instructors were very good and very professional. The cost of the course was quite reasonable and the location central to all activities in Manta. The only drawback is the street noise at times but this is after all Latin America where much energy is put into horn... More

We had a great experience with the teachers at Surpacifico Spanish School in Manta, Ecuador. They are also under the website ecuadorspanishschools.com. If you plan to be there (and really, there are so many other great places to study in Ecuador, I would recommend skipping Manta unless you have a specific reason to be there), do NOT stay in the... Firstly, we’d like to apologize for the less than optimum experience that you had at our apartment. Your experience is unfortunate because past students have complimented us on the great central location with access to the beach, it being conveniently located near to the biggest supermarket and mall, and lots of good local restaurants. It’s also nice to be in... More
