We just returned from a fantastic 9 day trip to the Galapagos,Ecuador. The Celebrity Expedition is a 5 star way to explore the most magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Giant tortoises, iguanas, sea lions , birds and the fabulous Blue-footed Boobies. The professionalism of the Naturalist Guides, zodiac drivers and the entire Celebrity crew allows me to rate this... Imagine snorkeling with sharks, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, sea tortoises and thousands of fish. Imagine walking along side a huge land tortoise. Imagine visiting Darwin's Institute and learning about its successful process for saving the land tortoise and the land iguanas from extinction . We did all of this and more on our cruise with National Geographic/Linblad. We saw frigates... More

Although the islands are available year round, May is a particularly great month to visit for several reasons. First, The Magnificent frigate bird mates during this time as does the Nasca Booby. And these birds are only seen on Isla Genovesa, a must see island. The land iguana, also rare, is best seen on this island. The Wavey Albatross is... More

We spent one day diving with Sub Aqua during a wonderful, week long Galapagos trip. We were very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and disorganization that we experienced with Sub Aqua. We needed rental equipment and were fitted for a wetsuit and BCD prior to leaving, but all other equipment (fins, mask, weight belt) was hurriedly distributed with litte... More

On this Christmas I wanted to do something different. I planned a trip with my friends. We all decided to celebrate this Christmas on a Cruise. We have searched on internet and after exploring various places, we finalized the Galapagos tour. I have gone through various websites which were offering Galapagos tour packages and also read many reviews. I need... More

The Galapagos Islands contain some of the world's most beautiful island formations and fascinating species of animals. My wife and I had a most enjoyable learning experience from the extremely knowledgable naturalist guides on the Galapagos Legend cruise boat. I want to give high praise to Columbus Travel and the extremely efficient and excellent service we received from their sales... More
