Dive with us into the spectacular and fascinating underwater world of the Galapagos Islands, one of the last natural paradises on earth. Discover nature at its purest and most original form, while following the footsteps of Darwin. See what is seen only in dreams...Each and every dive site around the islands ranks among the best and most impressive destinations in the world. Diving with pelagic fish and large sea creatures gives divers one of the most spectacular experiences possible. Encounters with different species of sharks, mantas, rays, whale sharks, marine turtles and sea lions are typically seen on most dives. With some luck, dolphins, marine iguanas and penguins can also be seen underwater! To give guests from around the world the opportunity to dive in this "natural aquarium", Hotel Silberstein in Puerto Ayora opened this Dive Center in February 2006.

We booked 4 days of diving in advance (which we definitely wouldn't do anymore as it was a real rip-off. We've been told by the travel agency that it's necessary to book in advance due to the busy season but it wouldn't have been a problem at all to book upfront as we were charged double the price..!!) Anyway, diving... More

We dove Gordon rocks and he made every effort to help us see everything we wanted in the area. He was great at educating and briefing the group prior to each dive which was... More

We had such great days out diving with these guys, they were alot of fun and really looked after us! My friends did their open water with Alex and I went out on 6 dives. Highly recommend this company as I went with a few others and had mixed experiences. Gordon's Rocks was my favourite of the dives, lots of... More

We had a great 2 dives at Gordon Rock with Alex, we felt very comfortable with him as our divemaster. We checked around at a few dive shops, they all seemed to be around the same price. Be warned that the currents at Gordon Rock are no joke - (not that it should discourage novice divers, most of our group... More

So it's simple- if you want to dive with Galapagos Sharks, white tip sharps, eagle rays, hammerhead sharks , turtles, sea lion and tons of amazing fish -Alex is the dive master for you. We were six people with 3 less experienced teens. Alex was professional, patient and got us to the most amazing spots. Equipment was pretty good and... More

The diving was fine but the operation of the shop is spotty. Maybe we were asking too much of a small place, but for the money we expected more. The shop was never open. We always had to go over to the hotel and hunt someone down. We had some trouble finding the right fitting gear and surprised they did... More

This was our last dive on our around the world trip and it was one of the best we ever had. One reason is the big school of hammerheads we could enjoy twice, the other was our diving guide Alex. We met him the day before the dive to organize all and had time to try on our equipment and... More

I have dived all over the world with a vast variety of guides and dive centers. However Alex and the rest of the Silberstein crew stand out. It is not a luxury center, but their passion for diving, their knowledge of the area and their ability to tailor the dives to maximize each divers ability stands out. If you are... More
