I organized a trip to the Galapagos Islands for 8 people and had very specific needs for the group and the desire to have "the most active, packed schedule possible for a week" and Galapagos Alternative was fantastic at accomodating us! We were very needy to say the least and they never complained about the constant back and forth over... More

My boyfriend and I just got back from 7 days in the Galapagos and it was a great time. We started off in Santa Cruz, day tripped in North Seymour, hopped over the Isabela and ended up in San Cristobal. Think the trip would have been much harder planning it on our own. From the pickups at the airport to... More

My husband and I spent 10 days on the islands in early March and it was an amazing trip. Javier and Jill met with us every day to let us know any scheduling changes or plans for the next day. Sue worked with me beforehand to get the most out of our time there and plan the perfect itinerary. We... More

Our 10 day trip to Galapagos was excellent and Javier, Jill and Liz made this possible. I worked via email on the details for the itinerary and everything went according to plan. In Santa Cruz we visited las grietas, Darwin Center, highlands, tortuga bay, Garrapatero beach. They also arranged our day trips to islands of Bartolome, North Seymour and South... More

We had an amazing week in the Galapagos! Galapagos Alternative arranged a good program for us, with time spent on Santa Cruz, Isabela and a day trip to North Seymour. We didn't have time to research everything ourselves so it was nice to have things taken care of. It was great knowing knowledgable guides were waiting for us when we... More

Galapogos Alternative put together a great itinerary for our 8-day tour of the Galapagos. They were able to work in everything we wanted to do -- fishing, hiking, snorkeling, and seeing all the amazing sites and species. GA's Javier, Christina, and Menino were extremely well informed guides -- in love with the islands, full of interesting information and stories, and... More

The Galapagos are a MUST see for anyone interested in biology. The trip was awesome. Jill and Javier are great people! They were helpful in the planning process, making alternations to the travel plans as necessary for members of our groups and for the inevitable snags that happen while travelling. I can't say enough good things about them and the... More

I recently went to the Galapagos with a few friends, and Galapagos Alternative set up the whole week of activities for us. They picked us up from the airport in Baltra and made sure everything along the way went smoothly. We had great daily excursions of hiking and snorkeling, as well as some free time. They help to make a... More

Jill and Javier were extremely helpful and the naturalist guides on S. Cristobal, Isabela, and Santa Cruz were very good.We made our plans at the last minute, over the Christmas and New Years' holiday, so the hotels were very expensive. G.A. are knowledgeable, lovely people, and know the islands thoroughly. Our only complaint was how expensive the trip ended up... More
