You can see easily why this is the best snorkelling site in the Galapagos. As soon as you jump into the water you are surrounded by fish and turtles and can see the sharks further down. If you are lucky a seal will swim with you and you may get a visit from a curious shark, but don't worry they... More

One of the Best places for Snorkling. Snorkeled with Galapagos shark, Hammerhead shark, sea turtles, Thousands of fish (School of fish), sea lions and hundreds of colourful species of fishes. Be aware of sharp rock and tides. Wet suit is must. Take underwater camera for wonderful memories. Jump early and reach fast ans sharks tend to go away with crowd.

Seriously.. if you travel this far and dont snorkel or dive here you missed out on one of the best sea ventures. What you see depends on natures roll of the dice.

We visited kicker rock as part of a two week trip sailing round the Galapagos islands on the Cachalote. Our guide had built the snorkeling up quite considerably, as the last time he had been there (a few weeks prior to our trip) he had seen 300 hammerheads and an Orca. As a result we were seriously excited to get... More

We where very exited to visit Kicker Rock as it appeared to be the best of the best. We went on a tour with a hefty price tag for what was offered. Firstly, the state of the boat sometimes seem to be very neglected. Broken window etc. It took us 90 minutes from Puerto Moreno to Kicker Rock, only one... More

Our guide took us snorkeling at Kicker Rock. The water was warm and not rough, and in addition to the many fish swimming around (which we expected), we saw a number of sea turtles underneath us. Some others in our group had some sea lions swimming around them, but unfortunately not us. Very clear water. Had a great time.

It is one of the most beautiful places there. The water is clear and warm. There is a huge variety of fishes, turtles, rays, sharks (including the hammerhead). You can´t miss it!

After reading reviews here, our expectations were very high. Having already been snorkeling many times in the past 10 days we had seen so much, there wasn't much left except for spotted eagle rays, golden rays, sunfish, and more sharks. If this was our day 1 in Galapagos perhaps we would have been blown away. Our guides said it was... More

Kicker Rock was a major highlight for our trip to the Galapagos. The day we were there the water was fairly clear at the top 20 foot level, with a slight chop. At greater depths, the water had less visibility. Swam with white tip sharks, sea turtles, colorful fish, but the best was a pair of eagle rays, who appeared... More

Very nice day of snorkeling, beach and a lot of pictures. We see turtles, small sharks, rays, and small fish in no so transparent waters. In a small beach on the way to Kicker Rock, we get to see Sea Iguanas, Great bleu herons, Pelicans, and others birds.
