We snorkeled at Kicker Rock and were surrounded by sharks (we're talking HUNDREDS), rays, fish, and tortoises - all in the same shot. It's one of the memory flashes I will revisit often because I still can't believe it happened. This was the most amazing snorkel experience of my life. If you get the chance to go to Galapagos, you... More

After a 5 day cruise in the Galapagos where we went snorkeling daily, we were disappointed in our snorkeling experience. The water was cloudy with algae and not many fish to be seen. Luckily, we also stayed 4 nights at Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz and learned about "kicking rock". We were told the snorkeling there was amazing, so we... More

Snorkeled frequently in the Galapagos, this was by far the best! The rocks themselves were incredible, then you go under water and see more sea life than any other location. I saw countless fish, extremely large schools, sea lions, four types of sharks, and much more.

I thought it was expensive at $80, especially seeing that it was terrible weather so when we got to kicker rock there was almost no visibility. I could see the turtles through murky water and what I think were sharks, but really not much overall. The sea was so choppy we had to get back on the boat early. There... More

We saw tons of amazing things, landscapes, sea turtles, sea lions, rays, sharks and more. The water was rough and cold - but it was worth it!

One of the things you learn when you do a lot of traveling, is that the price isn't always the price. We had arrived on San Cristobal on our sailboat, and as the costs for someone to sail here privately are incredibly expensive, we were in a bit of a cost saving mode. We asked around about a day snorkeling... More

This was a great place to snorkel. I swam with sting ray, and a sea turtle, as well as hundreds of fish. We saw a couple of whales from the boat. The rock is huge- boats look so tiny up against it.

This rock confirms one's feeling that the Galapagos are so different from every place else on earth that one is on another planet! The snorkeling near the rock is also otustanding.

Extremely abundant marine life including numerous sharks, sea turtles, rays, and thousands of fish of many different sizes and species. The water was a bit cold but wet suits kept us nice and comfortable.
