My husband and I were fortunate to snorkel at Kicker Rock off San Cristobal Island Ecuador. We had been told that we would see hammer head sharks and not to worry as there was too much food in the water that the sharks would not be interested in us. I was amazed at the size of the Hammer head sharks... More

This place is by far one of the best places to go diving or snorkeling in the GPS. We saw lots and lots of sharks, manta rays, black tip, lots of colorful fish, eagle rays, turtles.. just amazing!!!!. If you are planning to get there, try to take a water camera with you... those memories you'll get there will be... More

We took several snorkel trips and this was the best by far! We were in the water for 2+ hours. Saw hammerhead, black tip, white tip and Galapagos sharks. Lots of fish, eagle rays and turtles. A true National Geographic experience. An amazing time.

Went to Kicker Rock on a daytrip from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and snorkeled the split between the two large rocks for about 1 hour. We saw hundreds of sharks, especially galapagos sharks, hammerheads and many eagle rays. Some of them came close enough so you could touch them. One shark I had to kick away with my snorkeling-fin as it... More

It depends on Your luck, but You will definitely see sharks! We were not very lucky (we saw no hammerheads or turtles) and to see the Galapagos-sharks we had to free-dive a few meters, but there they were: hundreds(!) of them. Truly an experience of a life-time!

My day trip diving/sightseeing here was sublime. I went with a fantastic, very safety oriented tour, and they made time for some bird watching and beach exploration. Usually, most dive companies just want to get you in and out in a hurry. The location itself is quite dramatic when you are right next to the towering rock formations, with blue footed... More

Do not miss this site if you go to the Galapagos islands! As previous reviewers have stated, you will see tons of various species at this site, including sharks, sea lions, & sea turtles. A definite must do! Bring underwater camera!

awesome snorkelling trip, you'll swim with manta rays, sharks, turtles and dozens of different fishes. impressive view of the rocks, the trip normally includes a couple of stops in nearby beaches. I did Puerto Grande and Cierro Brujo, the latter a gorgeous spot with crystal clear blue water, red crabs and white sand.

We had an amazing time here - we were taken by Opturga Tours (from San Cristobel - they are the best!!). Not only was the snorkeling fantastic (sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and loads of colourful fish), we witness four orcas hunting a turtle on our way there. Definitely recommend this trip - and ask for Roberto as your... More

We saw many hammerheads whilst scuba diving on our first trip to Kicker Rock. The second time we went (a week later), we did not see hammerheads diving, but we saw a school of 7 four metres below us while snorkelling! The site is likely something out of a national geographic! Sharks galore, spotted eagle rays (we saw a school... More
