love this beach

The water was clear and you could see fish underneath. We played with the baby seal and had a good time.

We visited the beach after a trip to the highlands and had our taxi driver drop us off. There isn't a lot of natural shade here, so bring plenty of sunscreen. There are a good number of sea lions here as well as marine iguanas and some decent snorkeling. We saw quite a few pups and some good fights between... More

Las Loberias has a lovely little beach when you arrive which was full of sea lions – mostly snoozing on the beach with some playing around in the surf. Once you get beyond the beach there's a fantastic walk of about 45 minutes that takes you over the volcanic rock used by seemingly hundreds of iguanas to sun themselves. It... More

La Lobería is a great beach for the avid snorkeler and amateur photographer. You'll swim with sea lions who will also pose for your photos. youyour u

Plenty of animals and birds to be seen here. This is a lovely long beach included in most of the tours, thus at some times of the day there are many other tourists keeping you company. Good for snorkelling, great to see the sealions and lizards. I walked further along to a higher point where you can see many nesting... More

I think my heading says it all. Found this Place through Trip Advisor and came here twice out of 4 days. Great Place to swim and snorkel. The lagune is sheltered from the Heavy surf just 100 m away. But look after the kids any why. I love it here! Tip: when you have gone bananas With you camera... just... More

The Las Loberias beach is great. A $3 taxi ride from downtown, then a hike along a sandy rocky shore viewing sea lions and iguana, it's worth the trip! Sea lions sleeping, playing, swimming. It was breeding time so there were so many baby sea lions. Fun to watch. The beach is sandy and clean. Sit and watch, nap, go... More

This beach and the tunnels on Isabela were the highlights of our two weeks. We arrived at 10am and had the entire beach to ourselves until 3pm. We swam with seals, turtles, fish and iguanas for hours for the cost of a mask, snorkel and fins ($5). Seals swam circles around me, I followed schools of fish and I even... More

This beach is at the end of the road out of town, past the airport. If you sit on the rocks at low tide you will see iguanas lazing and basking. Further along there are sea-lions and sometimes if there is no-one around you can see pelicans.
