When you hear Trump, you don't imagine this run-down place with tacky décor, but that is exactly what you get. Plus, it just smells awful. I don't know if people are just smoking everywhere (I did not notice a lot of smoking) or if they need to upgrade their ventilation.

Don't like the place. Very old, the rooms need to be renovated the hotel itself it very outdated. The carpets everywhere smell like smoke, it's just like a carpeted basement where people used to smoke a lot and drop their drinks. Not impressed at all. 3 points only because there are few good restorants. The hotel and casino is awful

We just spent Fri and Sat nights with a comp room. At first we were shocked as to why we managed to get a comp room knowing that we haven't been down there for a while. Now I know why..... 1). The place was not as crowded as it used to be. 2). The Sultan Buffet was closed down 3).... More

I have to start by saying our room in the Chairman's tower was a comp, so as the old saying goes, "you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth", yet I will anyway. The room was OK, but overlooked the side of the defunct Showboat, and the dingy alley way below. We were on floor 64, which is funny... More

The Trump Taj Mahal is vey glitzy and large. The gambling machines seemed to not be paying off very well. At least on the day we were there. The VIP room had a beautiful view of Atlantic City shoreline. We were excited to watch a pod of whales off the coast from this view. It was awesome. One thing good... More

Truly a poor place to visit. Would not recommend this to anyone. Lacks true service and a poor return on the amount of money paid for the hotel

At one time the hotel was very dated and was not very well taken care of but has really cleaned up its act and is worth staying there.

Have only gambled, shopped and dined there. We enjoyed browsing in the shops and even found some sale items! Had a lovely meal at the Club Buffet which had a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and a wonderful variety on the buffet. Of course we gambled and even won a little!

Taj Mahal equals India, right? The outside has that theme, but inside I don't know what it was suppose to represent, definitely not India. The place needs a massive renovation it is very dated and run down looking

Walked down the Boardwalk one afternoon to the Taj Mahal. Remember this being a fun vibrant casino the last time we were here. A lot has changed here. It was like playing slots in a funeral home. And it you wanted to play table games you had a couple to choose from that were even open.
