I stayed at Showboat this weekend and I must say not very impressed. For starters when you walk in the hotel is smells of smoke and stale air. You would think the casino would be non smoking in the front so when guests walk in it smells fresh and gives a nice first impression. Check in was quick, we stayed... More

We went to Showboat to go to the House of Blues for a show. Drinks were yummy, the slots were lucky, and the show was awesome! I always enjoy Showboat when in AC.

we stayed at Revel the night before, but decided to stay at Showboat the following night since we didn't think it's worth it to pay twice as much for a Saturday night at Revel, but we are thinking now we probably should have. The clientele are totally different for the two places. we love the Revel because it's non smoking... More

They haven't let this place fall apart. It was well lit and well staffed. Some areas were non-smoking. I would stay there again.

I went and stayed on a Friday night to see a show at the House of Blues and stayed at the Showboat Casino/Hotel. I'd say the casino floor was the nicest part. It seemed well run, well lit and fun, with a HVAC unit good enough to handle the smokers. Staff was very friendly and all in all, it seemed... More

Loose slots, cheap drinks, House of Blues....what's not to like? As the rest of Atlantic City dies, this casino will do well. Better maintained, good layout, good pubs and grub. A generally fun place in a town that is descending into obscurity.

Concert was good. Gambled and lost, ate at the buffet which was way overpriced if you don't eat seafood. They need to tier the price for those of us who don't eat seafood. Other casinos are doing this now and it's great!
