called the hotel to inform them that we'll be arriving late then the operator tells as that it'd be fine since the check-in service is until 2am. Ensuring the late check-in, arrived in the hotel by 11:30pm trying to check in to the front desk agent then she tells us that our room would be ready in 45minutes. nothing else,... More

Liked the relatively smoke free casino, disliked their tight machines. Disliked the room, felt paying almost $400 for a few days they would have given us a better room with a view. Too much yelling throughout the early morning hours.

I do like playing in the Showboat Casino. I go there every time that I go up to Atlantic City but it is hard to get a drink there so usually I do not stay long. When I go to a casino, I like to settle in on a slot machine and have drink service. Just about every time I... More

This place was so run down and dirty we got out of there before the Valet had even moved our car. The poker room was unattended, the slot machines were old and dirty and the table games were minimal. Very small casino.

Stayed here more than once. Last visit the room literally smelled like a litter box. Actually had to ask for a room change (never do that). They did change the room with no problem, which is why they earned the 2nd star. Casino itself is dated and dirty, and kind of feels unsafe. Needs some upgrades. And the wait to... More

We stayed and played for 2 days at Showboat and had a great time. Our hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We found the smoke free area of the casino much better than most in Las Vegas and Connecticut. Security was very visible when we were there and we felt very safe. At least Showboat has a Johnny Rocket's... More

Casino has deteriorated in recent years. Saw more than a few people that just sit at slots and order drinks without playing. Also people sleeping at slots and I guess no one is allowed to chase them out.
