Nostalgic and beautiful with a heavy touch of trashiness.

I say the above with all honesty and yet with no level of snobbiness, as I am truly the furthest thing from. This is a great boardwalk and I love it. But like any tourist... read more

I say the above with all honesty and yet with no level of snobbiness, as I am truly the furthest thing from. This is a great boardwalk and I love it. But like any tourist attraction with a long populated walkway of sorts (like the Strip in Vegas), it has its issues. It is very difficult to go from point... More

Atlantic City doesn't get enough credit compared to some of the beaches north and south of it. The history here is just wonderful, the beach is more than good enough, and there's plenty of space to spread out. There's always plenty of surfers so lots to look at. The only thing I didn't like was the airplanes flying overhead flying... More

Major disappointment. We started at the end near the closed REVEL Casino. There are boards lifting on the boardwalk, and boardwalk staff in combat green outfits that were not real friendly. We were totally surprised how run down the AC Boardwalk seems to be compared to a similar place like Maryland Ocean City.

The boardawalk was hosting a triathlon. I wonder if this were not the case of there would of been as much people there. We went on a weekend. Art project designed to uplift dead space had a fountain that was not working, the Korean War memorial was very nice. We knew we were going to have casinos on the boardwalk,... More

The boardwalk is amazing. We roller blade every morning during our visit from one end to the other. Because of the boards you really have to jump around and pay attention giving you a great work out... The beauty of the buildings make it a very special morning exercise.

This place has everything.......beaches and amusement parks and casinos.........OH, MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't miss with this place. During the day you hit the beach & hit the rides. Swim in the ocean. At night, you gamble & lose some money. Its a win-win

It is a mini Las Vegas. The casinos are worth enjoying. Sea beach is really great. Hotels are too good to dine.

Are there hawkers and some "seedy" annoyances there... yeah, sometimes. BUT... the beach is clean, and the water is wonderful! You have all the seaside junk foods you crave, some fun beach-front bars, (I recommend the Landshark Restaurant by Resorts for basic beach food, and great views). And walking the boardwalk is one of my favorite things to do! Ya... More

This is better than its reputation. It is fun to walk along the boardwalk and see the shops, stop into some casinos and of course get some saltwater taffy.
