Wrong season of the year but looked like fun

We were here on business. I didn't get to see much of the boardwalk area but I saw enough to want to come back and enjoy spending some time wandering.

What is there to do in AC except gamble? Well the Boardwalk is one place to go but there is not as much to do as with other Jersey Shore boardwalks. There are some shops and a mall but shops are not always open off-season. There is the Steel Pier, which has rides for the kids. Travel up and down... More

My wife and I loved walking the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. There are lots of police present which makes you feel safe, The few panhandlers are friendly and non-aggressive. There are also lots of Ambassadors, in yellow jackets, present who look out for tourists and are available to answer any questions you may have about Atlantic City. Beware however that... More

Boardwalk is like the great beach-side road that goes on forever and it is all lined up with great resorts, casinos, restaurants, game parlours and exciting shops selling all kinds of stuff. The best thing about this never ending road is its liveliness - powerful sounds of the Atlantic ocean get mixed with the giggles and laughter of the happy... More

It can be kind of depressing it especially in the winter time but if you've not seen it you should go take a stroll along it. Just don't be out there too late at night when the crowds die down. There is a tram or to driving up and down the boardwalk now they have hysterical people sometimes driving them... More

I have been coming here for more than 45 years and still get the thrill of walking the boards. It is a good way to tour the beach attractions and get exercise all at the same time. Many casinos have direct access to the board walk, the shops along the way are not that impressive but worth going on the... More

Just a 1-1/2 hour drive from New York City, this is the oldest Boardwalk in the US. It is 4 miles long with shops and casinos throughout its length and overlooks some of the best beaches on the east coast. The Steel Pier is 1,000 feet long extending over the Atlantic Ocean with several food shops and rides as well... More
