If you go to Vegas where you feel safe everywhere, Atlantic City's not like that. You can walk the Vegas strip anytime, Atlantic City you don't want to be on the boardwalk at night. SO GO IN THE DAYTIME!

the boardwalk is the best part of Atlantic City. It's the reason why I keep coming back. You have the beach and the ocean on one side and the casinos and restaurants on the other side. there usually is a nice breeze...

The historic Atlantic City Boardwalk is one-of-a-kind, with all of the unique casinos, wide variety of shops and restaurants from high-class hotel eats to greasy spoons and the BEST ice-custard to be found--at Rita's. There is also a museum, a lighthouse (nearby), and if you walk way down in the opposite direction from the Marina you will come upon a... More

I thought the boardwalk would be more interesting than it was. It was nice to walk along the sea, soaking up the sun. The boardwalk has too many pedi-cabs, trams, police car patrols and shady businesses. The amusement park pier, food courts and casinos lent it an unexpected glamour.

You can't get bored. This boardwalk has everything. The tram is like a mini bus and costs $2.00 and travels the full length of the boardwalk from Taj Mahal at one end by the steel pier to the other end past where I needed it. The tram you wave it down like a cab and you tell them where you... More

The Atlantic City boardwalk is under rated. Yes is has the souvenir and dollar stores, but it also has many nice places to eat, not to mention the casinos. Don't believe the storm damage shown on national news as that is a small, older section of the boardwalk with the rest of it in great shape. There are brand new... More

I don't know why more people aren't coming to the Casino's in Atlantic City, as it has the fantastic Boardwalk right outside! If you love walking the boards, you will love it here! So many interesting things to do! Eat, shop and if it's your fancy, try your luck at one of the Casino's. Also, if you love the ocean,... More

The best part of the boards besides the free beach access, is the new tram car. It's a long golf cart and costs $2, each direction. It starts at the trop and stops before the Revel. You can get off anywhere in between.

A very long boardwalk to begin with with access to beach on one side and restroom area on the boardwalk. Plus shops/casinos on other side of boardwalk. Great place to walk and be romantic. Get a street peddler to drive you around the boardwalk area from one end to another end. Boardwalk has tram/trolley cheaper than street peddler to drive... More
