Hiighly recommend going to West view (4k pesos fee) they have a really cool diving board and some really fun activities. !! You can actually dive down to the Poseidon statue with only your diving glasses if you feel like it, or say high to divers under water. Gotta be comfortable holding your breath quite a while though! =)

The entry fee is 4 mil pesos (about $1.50). In the late afternoon people started leaving and then it was quite peaceful. The water is absolutely crystal clear and there are gentle waves so no seaweed or sand gets churned up. There are many fish to see and a slide and diving board to enjoy. The only reason I give... My husband and I spent 4 days in San Andres, and walking underwater with AquaNautas was one of the most amazing things we did. You have to pay for the attraction but it is totally worth it. Don't miss the adventure! You can also use your snorkel in the natural swimming pool. Jump into the water!

Excellent for snorkeling. The blue color of the sea is amazing. West View is the best place to dive because is deeper than El Acuario, reaching 10 meters in some points.

Take a boat to el acuario and enjoy the pristine waters along the way. Try free diving among the tropical fish at La Piscinita.

At El Acuario you should expect a crowded place where people will try to rip you off all the time. We chose not to go with the tour guide and went snorkeling by ourselves, which I think it was wiser, as if you follow the guides you'll only get to see legs under the water instead of fish. It was... I'm an easy going person but this experience has shocked me. We booked both this aquarium and the Johny island but when we arrived we had to pay for everything, snorkel, glass boat.. So we were actually stuck for 1,5 hours on a few square meters. Every second they wanted to sell something and in the end it was a... More
