You must go if you ever go to San Andres. They say that if you leave San Andres without going to Johnny Cay you missed 50% of the trip. I really recommend going and eating there. There's really good food for 7 USD and you can drink a lot aswell. Really great view of San Andres from the cay and... More

To its credit, it is very close to all the big places in San Andres There are lots of panga type boats to get you on and off the cay quickly. We decided not to eat there when we saw what was available elsewhere. On a nice day mid-week it would be OK. Better to head South and see the... More

After seeing some very busy beaches in Colombia during the xmas period, i was sure to get here early. We took a boat at around 10am and the island was quiet and then boat loads started coming in after. Be prepared to pay for a tent and chairs, it's worth it. You can leave your stuff there and then wander... More

Can be quite dangerous to get in and out of the boat on windy days, as you land on the beach, no dock in place yet. Bring money, chairs, umbrellas, 2nd drink will cost you. If you walk around the island to see iguanas watch out for broken glass.

Best Pina Coloda's Beach nice, water a little rough you need water shoes I do hate that you have to pay to use the bathroom at these places but still a nice place to visit Bring money when you come because you have to pay for drinks, use the bathroom and to rent a chair and umbrella

It is interesting to make the combined tour: with Aquarium, and don't miss lunch with fresh and delicious fish. The other side of the little island has many small natural pools with warm water and small marine species. We were really sorry for people using coconut shells as cups for cocktails, pouring out the water and throwing them in the... More

Even though this is one of the most famous spots of the island, I didn't like it, too many people around, it was very unpleasant. The location is great (great beach, beautiful sea and amazing views of the island) but extremely crowded. Only stayed for an hour and left. The have a lot of vendors around the beach.
