This island is simply beautiful and a must do if you travel to San Andrés. Just a 15 min boat ride and cheap as can be the beach here is the nicest I've ever been to and the water is like bath water! Simply stunning!

I was there a few years ago. That's a wonderful beach, the water is clear and warm. The food is really good, and you must drink a "coco-loco".

Short 10 minute boat ride with Dolphin Tour boats. All info and instruction in Espanol. Buy a waterproof pouch (or bring one) to protect your phone, money, ID, etc. Wear a hat and bring sunblock. Boats land at Rose Cay and crews hawk snorkeling gear, other items. People come all day long - gets crowded rapidly. Have to wade to... More

This is a totally idyllic island, white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and the shade of palms along the beach, unfortunately though there are literally thousands of tourists visiting each day so you have to fight for a square inch of sand. I also was very disappointed to see so much litter everywhere. If you don't mind the crowds, you'll... More

The cayo is beautiful and has a great beach...but know imagine that crowded with hundreds of excursionists and dozens of awful barracks serving bad quality and expensive food...truly an horror how authorities allow such a beatiful place to be destroyed!!!!

This place was the main part of our trip to the island and also included snorkelling at aquarium. The island is beautiful and you can walk around exploring. However there's lots of restaurants on the middle of the island and it's very busy with tourists. If you want a secluded beach this is not for you

Visited with my husband as part of our honeymoon. A boat will take you from San Andres to Johnny Cay, and from there you relax in the beautiful beach. Walk around the island and explore the nature, or have some dinner made by native people. The experience is definitely worth it. A must see if you go to San Andres.... More
