Hadn't been to AP in years. Board walk is beautiful and neat. Lots of neat stores and nooks and crannies to explore. The Convention all is plain awesome! Well done AP, Well Done! Not much for kids to do, but can't wait to head back with my wife and do a boardwalk bar hop!

Great architecture for photographs and just to enjoy. There are some good restaurants on the boardwalk that have live music on the weekends during the summer. Also, in the summer, there is a summer stage at the Stone Pony, which is high up and outside so you can enjoy the concerts from the boardwalk. The Wonderbar across from the boardwalk... More

The Board walk is small but eclectic. They have tried to rebuild the town about every 30 years and have buildings from each era. It unique and a short ride from the City. The board walk is small but the stores are different and they have some fun events. Just check ahead of time. Of course there's the Silver Ball... More

Went here as a child, so holds a bit of nostalgia for me. My family with children ages 12 , 14 and 31 with grandchild age 5 love coming here for day trips. The crowd is low key and very diverse. From tattooed rockers to silver haired seniors, local families and everything in between, there's something for everyone. Reasonable parking,... More

Asbury Boardwalk is a fun spot... The boardwalk is flanked by the old convention hall and casino buildings. There are public restrooms at either end, a few eateries and very few shops. The whole boardwalk is relatively small but clean.

The beach is definitely scenic, and it was not crowded on the Wednesday we visited. But for $5 per person, I would expect The beach to be a bit cleaner. We arrived in the morning and there were items of trash left behind. Nothing horribly offensive, just a few straws, water bottles, and soda cup tops, but definitely things that... More

Not too long ago this place was a dump. For the past three years my partner and I and my now 7 year-old son have been taking the hour long drive from our apartment on the west side of Manhattan to the very cool beach at Asbury Park. The crowd is diverse and friendly and the boardwalk is quaint but... More

Nice place to stroll, benches are available for resting, watching the surf and people on the beach, plus a few stores - many new stores scheduled to open in the near future. The boardwalk leads to the old Paramount Theatre inside an Art Deco building that has lovely architecture outside, and many new shops inside plus a couple of eating... More

Lots to do and see. Great view and clean. A cool flea market and great food choices. Not loaded with rides and carnival attractions, but great food and shopping.
