“Beautiful Theater, Great Sound!!”

Historic Theater that was beautiful inside, and the band sounded incredible. The only complaint I would have is that the security was more concerned about making sure people weren't taking video of the band rather than kicking out the overly intoxicated woman who was trying to accost the lead singer and grab him off the stage. More

This theater has been redone not too long ago. It is absloutely beautiful. We sat in the balcony, which I think had better sound quality than the first floor. The art work inside the theater is gorgeous. In the summer evenings the boardwalk is loaded with free entertainment and it is at such a scenic setting on the Jersey shore. More

went to roller derby, shopped at the shoppes, went to the tree lighting, marveled at the old plasterwork, got a heavy dose of nostalgia, noticed much more renovation work to be done, had a grand time. More

Growing up here from the 60s through the 90s, we thought Asbury was a goner. The start of its comeback was surely the Paramount, which, through dedicated volunteers, historians, and booking everything from local theater to bar mitsvahs, slowly was refurbished to its former glory. Now seeing the likes of Clapton, Dylan, women's roller derby, and the record-setting October zombie... More
