Rio Claro is perfect for swimming and oudoor activities. It's possible to have guided tours to the caves and also multi-day kayak trips. The food is included and nothing special, but eatable and the service is fast. A plus for the administration, they are very professional. When we were there, there was a problem with the electricity, so even at... More

This is a nature hotel with several housing options. We stayed in the forest, overlooking the river in a very intimate open air room. The picture above is likely the building we were in. We were on the top floor. The kids had the corner room, so open on both sides, like a tree house. We had the room next... More

This is a beautiful, must visit place! At first I was disappointed because I thought 💭 it would be colder, but when we arrived it was very hot. But that changes soon after you get used to it. The actual "lobby" is quite far from where you arrive, next to the road. Everything is ecological. The river is crystal clear... More

Went with my 3 boys on this adventure trip, we slept directly at the river in a rustic platform in the forest, listening to all the sounds at night was beautiful. Crossing the dark caves with a flashlight is a real exercise and a little spooky, my boys loved it. We stayed 4 nights and felt like Robinson Crusoe.

5 stars for nature, 4 stars for the restaurant and services and 3 stars for the rooms. We visited this stunning area for 3 days and stayed in the El Refugio. We loved the cave tour which is really good value and the self organised tubing down the Rio Claro (tube rental is only 8.000 for the day). The rafting... More

The place is really beautiful, the river is the best part, it has marble bottom so it looks like a white mirror in some places. The rafting is very relaxing, the current is not very strong, so everybody can do it, even old people or kids. at some point it arrives to the marble cave, an awesome place to swim.

Weather was nice, people are nice but the best part were the surroundings. The water is christal clear and there is place to make a large jump to the river. I really liked this part. Never have been inside the caves, but I hear it is definetly a must do.

I just looked at TA before going and yeah most people complain about the Hotel what has nothing to do with the park itself ... we came with a tent - 10000 per person, the huge camping area is just behind the entrance and we were the only (!) People there ... There is also a number written on the... More
