Nice place with a lot of lighted columns surrounded by a-la bamboo plants in the center of the city. It's good to pass by on the walking tour in the city during the day as there are many other places to see on the way, but even the lights should be seen at night i don't think you'll miss a... More

Stopped by the shopping building to the top floor for a cold drink and relax. This cold drink is 5000 peso. This is a food court with variety of choices. Been here before and I like it. Clean and people are friendly. Some younger people speaks some English that help.

We visited this park on our walking tour during the day and the guide suggested taking photos from the ground looking up through the towers. These were great photos. Lots of food vendors in front with mango, papaya and other great treats. Lovely at night with all of the LED lights. Very tall structures, yet very open parque.

This is one of the interesting sights in downtown Medellin, I would highly recommend a drive by at night.

I highly recommend seeing this site as part of The Real City Walking Tour. It is located in a part of the city that has been rejuvenated, and taking the tour will greatly increase your appreciation of the great things that the city is doing to improve its desirability

Only 10 years ago the city fathers rescued this neglected area and built this very unusual park, which doesn't look like much by day but is spectacular when lit up at night. Right across the street is the old railroad station, from when they were still shipping out coffee by train, and the imposing bronze sculpture Homenage a la Raza... More

Parque de la Luz is in downtown Medellin tucked away in Plaza Cisneros. Every taxi driver in town knows it. Best to go in the evening just as it is getting dark. Sit on a bench and enjoy watching the lights -- 300 poles of them -- of varying heights. It has a very modern feel while everything around it... More

Just so different that it is worth a visit, but not a place to hang around. I would suggest you to ask a cab to take you around at night to have seen it and drive to another place.

this is probably the worst parque to be. First of all: it is not a friendly spot in the center as this "park" looks like a forest made out concrete. If you love concrete : go and see it. Waht lacks is a friendly atmosphere where you can relax a bit. But apart from the concrete this park is also... More

Lights are nice when tasteful. These? gaudy. It was as if it didn't matter what the lights looked like...just put up Lights!
