If you don't like wandering around reading information and looking at exhibits, this is the museum for you! Parque Explora is the most impressive hands-on museum I have ever visited. It covers 3 floors and everything involves interaction. It is quite incredible and very well maintained. It would be a kid's dream. There is also an excellent aquarium. I thought... More

This is a very nice place to visit an easily accessible by the metro line. It is more than just one park, there are interactive exhibits and an aquarium with many interesting things to see and do. It is a nice way to spend a few hours and right in front is the botanical gardens.

I went here to go to the aquarium which was great, but there is so much more to see. For children there is a huge science and activity area which was amazing. Definately worth taking the children there for the day. A must see in Medellin

Ok - I went for the aquarium. I couldn't believe how high a Trip advisor rating it had. The fish were amazing and the descriptions were very insightful and interesting. E.g. couldn't believe some fish change their colour based on emotion. Never seen an aquarium that good. Then the interactive museum which I think is designed for kids was awesome... More

The aquarium is only a small part of this attraction... If you like science and experiments this is for you... Its a must... Worth the money my husband and I spent 3 hours here, we went on a Tuesday afternoon and there was hardly anyone there which was great for us!! Enjoy and have fun!!

My boyfriend and I are in our 20's and this was still one of the most fun things we did in Medellin. We went to see the aquarium and its collection of Amazonian fish, and were not disappointed. What we were not expecting was to be so thoroughly entertained by the interactive floor (the top floor) which had exhibits on... More

Very organized, guided, nice students work as guides and are knowledgeable. Fun games for kids of all ages, including adults. It is better to arrive in the morning at least by 10.30am so you can see all the exhibitions calmly, have lunch and continue visiting the park. It has science, arts, sports, and amazing replica of the Amazon river and... More

Spent half the day here wondering between exhibitions and trying the interactive displays, games and experiments. It's done in a really creative way, guides are really helpful and approach you to give interesting insight into the exhibitions. Recommend audio guide for aquarium. It's free! And make sure on your way out you take a close look at the cylinderical mirror... More

I enjoyed Parque Explora. Although the entrance fee (20 mil or $12) was not cheap in terms of other attractions in Medellin, I thought that the aquarium and exhibits were entertaining for the whole family. I would not prioritize this attraction if you only have a few days in the city however. Besides the fact that the animals are native... More
