Very interesting. Great to do a bike tour through the city, but do recommend it once the sun sets or on a sunday and monday and it is cooler with less taxis. Lots to see, do, take in the culture, check out the locals, very good parties More

The walled city is a delightful old city center to walk and take in the local flavors and smells. There are so many hagglers on the street but as soon as you get accustomed to flatly and quickly showing your intentions you will enjoy the walk despite the interruptions. The prices are inflated in the walled city. Eat from the... More

The wall city or la zona amurallada is a must in Cartagena. All the nice restaurants are there but most importantly it's like stepping back in time. The courtyards are beautiful and you cold spend hours just sitting there having a drink. The people are nice and you will love this atmosphere. More

Shopping for souvenirs for friends and family. Jewelry and regional art for us. Enjoyed walking along the top of old fortress wall. Beautiful old city homes on narrow streets. More

The walled city is a charming place. It has all kinds of restaurants, pubs and hotels. You can walk around the last centuries just watching the beautiful architecture of this lovely city. You have to be aware that you are in Colombia, so don't expect to see a perfect and organised city, we colombians are relaxed and easy going, so... More

Liked wandering through the ancient city. I walked atop the walls and outside the walls of this wonderful place and on every street of the walled area. What a delightful place! I highly recommend Restaurant Salou on Playa de la Artilleria. More

Cartagena is devided into three Parts :Old city ,New City and popular city. The old city is surrounded by walls that's why we call this part of the city the walled city. There is a balcony contest in the walled city and the owner of the house with the best balcony does'n pay tax during one year. Cartagena is a... More

Beautiful! The only drawback are the street vendors, who are very annoying. If colonial cities are your passion, I recommend the Hotel Santa Clara or Santa Teresa......and if you need somewhere a little chillier, Antigua Guatemala. More

We travelled to the walled city during our winter vacation. We had done some research prior to our trip to make sure we saw all that we should, but we were amazed with all that this "must see" offers. What an incredible place!!!!!! One of our initial rides to this part of the city was through our resort, and it... More
