Isabel and Alejandro operate a wam and professional dive shop conveniently located within the walled city of Cartagena. From the first few emails we exchanged, I felt confident that my boyfriend and I would be kept safe while having fun under the sea. We enrolled in a two day Advanced Open Water course in order to further our diving options.... More

I am a certified Padi OWD, and on March 10, 2015 did a dive with a very friendly team of Cartagena Divers. The first immersion was very good, unfortunately the second was plenty of pitfalls. Due to some anxiety, I ran out of air faster that the rest of the group, so I advise the DM when I had 1000... More

First of all we would like to thank you for your feedback. Please accept our apologies, we are sorry about that situation. The dives and the depths in the area are very safe and calm. In your case our mistake was not to have told the instructor assistant to surface with you when you indicated the 500 psi. We usually... More

Hi, it was my first dive I made with Cartagena Divers and I enjoyed it entirely. The organisation as well as instruction staff were very nice and competent, the gear was in good shape and the diving spot incredible. I did the "minicurso": meeting at Cartagena Divers office at 7 a.m., back in the city at about 12.30 p.m., booked... More

Having worked as a dive master I know what to expect from a dive shop and unfortunately Cartagena Divers fell short on a couple of essential points. Firstly, they forgot our wetsuits, one instructor kindly loaned my friend his for the dives but I had a couple of pretty chilly dives. Secondly, on the first dive the captain anchored directly... Went there for a couple of dives after reading the reviews. The guides r nice and friendly. And the office is clean and tidy. But what amazed me the most was top of the line equipment, big and comfortable boat that is designed for scuba diving with a ladder and benches for the air tanks. Very professional and user friendly.... More

This is hands down the best dive shop in Cartagena. The owners are totally professional and have the safety of their clients as there number one priority. This is the second season diving with Issa and Alberto. I have seen there business grow and flourish due to the relationships the make with the community and there in depth knowledge of... More

I went snorkeling with this group but others in our boat all went diving. Felt safe with this group. All staff were friendly and personable. Sturdy boat and good drivers. Went to Baru instead of Rosario Islands but given the negative environmental impact diving can have, preserving the habitat of the Rosario Islands is a positive thing. Saw lots of... More

We had a good experience with Cartagena Divers, but it was a bit too informal for us. The staff was friendly and fairly communicative over e-mail in advance of the dive. We met them at the pier in the morning, showed our PADI certification, and boarded the (very crowded) boat. However, when we boarded, there was no instruction or overview... More

We decided we wanted to go on a last minute dive trip while we were in Cartagena. Based on the reviews on TA, we decided to go with Cartagena divers. The reviews did not lie. The CD staff was incredibly friendly and professional. You could tell as soon as you stopped into the shop they knew exactly what they were... More

After a series of emails planning our diving day for four people, we dutifully sat waiting for our scheduled 7:10am condo pickup. Once 7:30 passed I suspected we were in trouble. Ironically I had suggested we take a cab in but they were wanting to pick us up. Suffice it to say that once I found a phone I learned... More
