Cartagena doesn't do tourist traps well. Just like Cafe Del Mar, we decided to go just bc we had read so many articles about it and the reviews on Trip Advisor were generally good. We went on a Thursday at 11:00pm as that's when we were told the band would start. We paid the 15,000 entry fee per person and... More

This is definitely the best bar in Cartagena as far as atmosphere goes. Always crowded, live band, great Cuban-themed decoration (legitimately Cuban, not Communist propaganda Cuban). The cover is expensive, but its worth it for the live music which will get you dancing. Only problem is that it's a bit too crowded, so if dancing is your thing, you're going... More

It was a great place to either dance to the live salsa band or just sit back and listen. The drinks were reasonably priced too.

Great Salsa Band. Fun Place and Well Decorated. I felt like I was in Cuba. Staff was friendly and place was full of energy.

My friends and I spent a wonderful evening dancing the night away at Cafe Havana. The music and the energy in this place were unlike anything I had experienced in a very long time. It was such a fantastic evening - dancing, drinking and meeting new friends. The bar started to get really crowded around 11:30 PM or so and... More

This place is a must if you're into dancing and tropical fun. The decoration is superb, they have a very good selection of rum and the live music is awesome. Had a great time here, loved the air of Cuban decadence and Latin dancing.

This is a tipical cuban place. By the time yo get ther you feel like in Cuba. Building is old and badly mantained. Inside the places is olf fasion but the ambiance is absolutely great. Live music band playng salsa, bachata, and different latin rythms. This place is crowded most of the times so be prepared to make a reservation... More

My friend and I went with no partner but that didn't stop us from dancing with some nice guys and meeting people. We paid something around 15,000 or 20,000 (USD$9 or 11) just to get in. Drinks in Colombia usually cost around USD$9 each, and I was really glad that they didn't ask us to buy a bottle of anything.

Cover charge was fairly hefty (P15,000pp) so predominantly tourists, but superb atmosphere and surroundings with great decor; Outstanding Cuban salsa band arrive around 11pm to listen, enjoy and dance to! Even the English!?! Pricey cocktails but worth it. London prices, but quadruple the alcohol in each drink! Also worth noting that if you head down the side street (Carrera 10)... More

I went there for a few drinks with friends from a hostel I met hours earlier. It wasn't bad there , good live music and a loud , energetic atmosphere. I wasn't a fan of paying the 15,000 pesos for a cover charge and the girls they weren't the best looking ... I lasted an hour there and then moved... More
