My friend and I went with no partner but that didn't stop us from dancing with some nice guys and meeting people. We paid something around 15,000 or 20,000 (USD$9 or 11) just to get in. Drinks in Colombia usually cost around USD$9 each, and I was really glad that they didn't ask us to buy a bottle of anything.

Cover charge was fairly hefty (P15,000pp) so predominantly tourists, but superb atmosphere and surroundings with great decor; Outstanding Cuban salsa band arrive around 11pm to listen, enjoy and dance to! Even the English!?! Pricey cocktails but worth it. London prices, but quadruple the alcohol in each drink! Also worth noting that if you head down the side street (Carrera 10)... More

I went there for a few drinks with friends from a hostel I met hours earlier. It wasn't bad there , good live music and a loud , energetic atmosphere. I wasn't a fan of paying the 15,000 pesos for a cover charge and the girls they weren't the best looking ... I lasted an hour there and then moved... More

I went there at the end of the night, 2 am more or less, so the place was not crowded and I could dance easily and enjoy the band. it s an interesting place to watch really good dancers and discover a bit of the Cuba mood.

Cafe Havana was an ok place to spend a night. First I'll say the band was great. The atmosphere was cool and so was the overall vibe. The cover charge wasn't a big deal. I was a solo traveler and came with another solo traveler I met the day before. We scored a couple of good seats at the bar.... More

Our plan was to just visit for a couple of drinks and to soak up the atmosphere. There is a cover charge on the door which would have made it an expensive visit but, if you go fairly early, it seems possible to negotiate your way in without paying on the promise you won't stay to long and will sit... As there is no AC, is extremely hot inside. Service and entertainment are great!. We enjoyed the live band. People looked nice.

As soon as you get in you feel you're in Cuba. Great live band, good atmosphere, good mojito. Good value for money.

This place is a definite tourist trap; however, I know this will sound crazy, but it is a must visit just for the nostalgia feel & environment that these (foreign) owners have re-created. Very cool throw back feeling like your actually in Cuba, kicking back some Cuba Libres & listening to some awesome salsa. 15,000 pesos just to enter, then... More

Charming - Great outdoor seating and people watching. We went early and enjoyed a Mojito before having dinner down the street.
