The first time we visited was in the morning. Attractive church and view of the city. Then two weeks later we came back at night. Lots of people out. Ironically, it felt much safer in the evening and seemed much more attractive as well in the soft glow of the evening light. Previously the church was not open, but in... More

On a hill overlooking the old city which was used to have cobblestone streets ...the neighborhood was been somewhat restored, there are some excellent restaurants around like La Cocina, Doctor Paella, Mar Azul...In June 29 you will find the macetas which are the candys made for the godsons which are sold on long sticks decorated with paper strips and cut... This little white church reminds of old times, beginnings of Cali. From the hill is a nice view on the city, red roofs of old small houses are in a sharp contrast with high rise modern buildings in their close neighbourhood.

The views from here are amazing. The highlight though, is to be in the park on a Friday evening. It was bustling with activities for the whole family to enjoy. Our favorite was watching the pop crate tobogganing, snacking on street food and enjoying the view of the city lights.

I was a little disappointed with the church and its surrounds. Although you do get a nice view if the city and there is a nice park adjoining I found the church to be less than impressive. I would only recommend as a time filler.

Beautiful barrio filled with nice restaurants. The view of Cali is spectacular, particularly at night. Pleasant, if steep walk from downtown.

This church was built in 17xx, supposed to be one of the oldest church in Cali, the atmosphere inside is solemn and warm, since it is up in the hill, at the same time you could enjoy a pretty good city view, air is fresh too, could be a option for tourists!

Nice to see if you are in the area but wouldn't make a special trip just to see the church. You can get some nice photos & a view but thats about it.

It's a cute little church on a hilltop with a nice vista, but its just another little church. Apparently it's the oldest church in Cali, and well kept. It was the venue for archly in the World Games 2013.

if you have chosen to walk around the historical sites downtown cali, then it is anice stroll up thye hill through the only protected historical quarter - the view from the hill is right on the sky-line of the city, and if you ignore it you could enjoy the extense spread of the valley behind.
