I had an awesome trip to the Zoo. The butterfly garden is especially good. The quality of food available at the park is not good (as with most attractions anywhere in the world) so take your own drinks and snacks. Also make sure you have a hat and sunglasses.

It is a good place to go with kids, it takes a lot of time to view all the animals, but there are plenty of things to see. There is no need for a guide, the maps and signals are clear and concise enough in order to give you info about what you're seeing. Between the stations, there are chairs... More

And what else would you do in Cali? It's just a common zoo, with nothing really special apart from the new installation about Australia and dry lands. Hurry up, before it gets destroyed!

The zoo has its attractions in the landscaping and plants and flowers, which is a nice home for the animals. The history of the native living in their natural environment is very interesting. You can observe various animals such as monkeys, tigers, zebra's, ostriches, reptiles, etc. In one part of the zoo you can observe various aquariums with an exebition... More

Beautiful park and zoo. Very well kept. Best in latin america. With native species. Plus the odd lion, bear and zebra. Educational. Its a foundation with a preservation and research aim. Better to go during the week. Less crowds.

Nice shady zoo with easy viewing of the animals. The big birds and big cats were impressive and you can see the care is good. I've read there have been improvements and you can see they are continuing the work. Animal spaces are very, very small though.
