Although we didn't use Nancy's guide services, we did have her hire a driver for us that worked perfectly. We were picked up at the airport at 8am, were driven to the Grottoes, Pagoda, and Monastery, and then to the train station at 7pm. It was easy and effortless to set up and the day went off without a hitch.... More

We found Nancy on trip advisor after having trouble booking a tour at our hotel and are so pleased we did. Nancy took us to the hanging monastery and yungang grottoes for a day. Best private tour guide we have used. If you are in Datong I would highly recommend you contact Nancy. Both her and the driver were friendly... More

Took a one day Datong private tour with Nancy. Nancy picked us up at the airport at 8 am (Beijing China Air Flight) and took us straight to the Hanging Monastery, about 70 km (2 hour drive). Datong is cold, at a 6000 foot elevation. The hanging monastery overlooks a lovely frozen river, and still carries a serene Silence about... More

I think 38 reviewers with 5 stars is not enough, she needs another one. Nancy is a must if you want to visit Datong. She speaks English very well and gives good restaurant recommendation and help you with anything you need. It's easy to contact her through wechat. I email her through gmail which takes about 1 day for her... More

We travelled to China last September and after a first stop in Beijing we decided make a stop on our way to Xi’an. We then decided to stop in Datong and we found Nancy! She answered very quickly to our mail and proposed two tours. We decided to take the day-tour that included the Hanging Temple, Mount Hengshan and Yungang... More

I contacted Nancy by e-mail after seeing a Tripvisor review. I had planned one day in Datong and told her my interests, schedule and asked for a hotel recommendation. Without hesitation Nancy recommended the Datong Hotel across the street from the train station to accommodate my early departure. Spot on advice. Nancy picked me up at the train station at... More

Found Nancy on Tripadvisor and could not have asked for a better guide. She is prompt with emails, tailors the trip to your needs and has excellent English. We did Hanging Monastery, Mt Heng and Wooden Pagoda on one day followed by Yungang grottoes the next day. Nancy also picked us up late at night from the station, dropped us... More

We only had one day in Datong and contacted Nancy to enquire as to if it was possible to fit in the Yungang Grottos, the Hanging Temple and the Nine Dragon Screen in one day. Nancy tailored the tour to our needs and was always prompt in responding to my e-mails. The day itself was one of the highlights of... More

Hi,

My husband and I plan to travel to China in September this year and are impressed with Nancy's reviews on Tripadvisor. We will wish to take a day train from Beijing to Datong so that we can see the Hanging Temple.

Can you please give us an idea of how much it would cost us for you to :-
