climb this hill for some great photos. Some cool history with the stories on the walls. Also, there is a very westernized coffee shop just outside the gates ate the top. Stop in and say hi - good coffee

A bit of a climb up many stairs, but the views along the way and at the top are worth it all. Just sit a while and enjoy the panorama. Buy some fresh fruit from a vendor at the gate on the way in.

This is a nice quiet retreat from the crowd. We walk up the hill, passing by the former Residence of Kang Youwei, another attraction in that area. Not sure I would pay the 15RMB entry fee for this one again. Alright views at top of hill if you can see through the smog but not much else there. Some trinket sellers in the pagoda up the top selling things you can buy everywhere. Make sure you bargain - even though prices are listed we still managed to... More
